I actually went thru hoops even before I deposited and was scammed out of two thousands dollars. Jesus cruz was the reps name. Within 20 minutes of my questioning him about the now bounced check...be fell off the face of the earth!

This man's new name is Peter Mark...and I went along with this scam knowing that it was a scam...he had to overnight a package to me and it cost them $$ to do that.  Just verified the "cashiers check" drawn on PNC bank was fake!  I am still playing along so we will see what the story is that unfolds...LOL~

I was getting emails from this guy claiming to be Johnson Parker.
Using the 585 420 86 number. He sent me a check for 2400$ thank god I didn't deposit it I'm just a college
Student and I have student loans I need paid.

i applied for a nanny job off of craigslist.com and have been receiving emails and texts from johnwilson364@yahoo.com and texts are from 5854208562.  He sent me a tracking number for a cashiers check he was sending for $2,480.00 and a list of items to buy for his familys new house when they arrive where i am located. he asked that i deposit it in a bank acct., which i do not have.  And my first weeks pay is $350.00, included in the large sum of money.  Has anyone else received any thing like this?  I am going to have the whole check thing checked out and possibly report it to my local PD.

I also had a similar situation with someone called Landy Paul wanting to send me a check without even wanting to talk to me to watch his three year old daughter for $400 a week for three hours a day.  I kept asking him to give me a call but just ignored my request. He even sent me a pic of his family so it seemed legitimate at first but after further review of the emails his name switched from Landy Paul to Paul Landy.  I am very glad I checked into this guys number.  He said that he was coming from Mexico but why and how would he be calling me from New York?

Pretty much same story as "light hearted nanny" same name (Jack Peter) However I have reported him to the D.A, he needs to be stopped. I will do what I can to make sure this animal doesn't play with the need of people to work and on top of it try to steal their money.

His name is Jack Peter and I'm supposed to set him up with an apt for him and his wife. Got the check today. The check came from Georgia, under a business named OmNovia Technologies based in Texas but he is from Rochester.  What could go wrong?
Don't worry, I'm over it. Know its a scam now.

guy with same number text me says sames things sort of and says his name is duncan edwards when i get check tomorrow i going to call the bank its dawn on and ask them to verify its a legal account before i do anything with it. he has sent a list of what to buy as for as food and items and wants it done on a spread sheet sent a photo of him and his wife and daughter says she is 3 but says in email baby bed that trigger me to reread old emails.

He (Alan Spencer) said he wanted a nanny and someone to set up his new apartment. That i should expect a check in the mail to purchase supplies and for a week advancement on pay. He sent me the first text message today and i immediately googled the number and boy am i glad i did. I had a hunch it was a scam just because who sends a check before you have even started working. Sketchy sketch ball!!!!!!!!

Already send me a check but I didn't deposite because when I asked to call me he never did. And he never told me he check my criminal record.suddenly he trust me yea right it doesn't work that way. Email for communication is not the best way to hire someone. Am not going to post his name because they enter here. But I gave him my address name email number . I really needed a job so I thought this was a good oportunity but the second email I. Rapidly notice it was a scam. I start looking for info in web of this number and the company he works for. He makes himself important and that has a lot of money. I'm going to the police with check and report this. I have to protect myself from these dangerouse people.

Its simple.  He sends you a check, but its for more than he owes you.  You deposit the check, then use Western Union to wire the overpayment to the company that is shipping his furniture or his old land lord of whatever he can think of.  The check he sends you is fake.  When it bounces your bank makes you pay them the whole amount of the check, including the overpayment that you sent someone else, plus a larger fee for depositing a bad check.  The scammer and the person you sent the overpayment to share that money.  You never hear from them again.

he has been scamming me all last week today is 10 16 12   his name this time is walter craig and his wife maria and daughter josephine  he wanted me to do the same thing set up his new aprtment i should be getting the check in the mail tomorrow he told me to contact him when i deposit it into my account he texted me 3  times today.... i text him back that i dont have a account and would like him to mail me  a money order or westeern union   he has not text me back since ..what i dont get what is he going to get out of sending us  a check..our acccount info what .....he text from numbeer 5854208562

This guy called his name George Williams said he had a apt in miami that he needed clean send a stolen check

Caller is calling my phone daily leaving no messages.  Caller has been identified and reported to the FBI and FCC, but continues to call.
