Bill M:  I received the exact same message in the exact same manner as you have described.  It is total bull!!!  I called them back and left a voice mail saying the full version of "F-U".  That was fun!!

585-4444-6953. Calls pretending to be IRS. Tells you they are issuing a warrant for your arrest, seizing your bank accounts and revoke your drivers license. Wants your attorney's number. Called on a Saturday when the IRS isn't open. Told me they sent a registered letter back in March. Nonsense. Reverse lookup shows them listed as irs all lower case. Supposedly this fake call is followed by more fake calls from DMV and the local police. Haven't gotten them yet. Just got this call. BY the way the phone message will say DO NOT IGNORE this call. Don't call back.

This appeared to be a recorded message.  The caller claims that she is an officer at IRS and informs it is a time sensitive information and  should not disregard. Gave the number 585-444-6953 before they take legal allegations.

I received the same phone call from IRS with the same Agent name Heather Gray.  She told to me to call back ASAP, otherwise a legal action will be taken against me.  These people must be very stupid.  With today's technology, we can look up any number on the internet and find out more detail information about that number.  This is a scam.  Please do not fall into their trap.

Call and hang up

received the call... hung up and called them back with the number listed in caller ID....an Indian (or middle eastern accent) answered and asked for the phone number i was calling from...then he proceeded to tell me an affidavit was mailed and no one was at home to accept it, therefore was returned to them... it referenced 5 tax years and i was in arrears....i questioned him the whole time feeling it was a scam, but the official nature of the statements and questions still had me thinking...he then proceeded to tell me my payment option had expired and i would be visited shortly by the local sherif and arrested with all of my assets seized for 5 years...i got my attorney on the other line and and asked him to please repeat what he just said to my attorney and he hung up..

I received call from #585-444-6953. they said they from IRS. but this is scam. do not trust these kinds jerks,crocks,a***oles.
do not answer any kind #' that you don't know. before you answer check there numbers in computer about there complaint.
do not give any money to this kinds a***oles.   JUST CALL TO IRS PHONE # 1-800-366-4484. MAKE A REPORT TO IRS.

Got a call from this number.  Voice did not have an accident.  Hard to tell whether it was male or female.  Said he/she was calling from the IRS.  And said to call immediately to avoid legal action.

Message said, "Issue is time sensitive. I am Officer Heather Grey with the Internal Revenue Service. Do not ignore this call. Contact me at the following division and phone number 585-444-6952. Do this immediately before we have to take any legal allegation against you".

Caller left "IRS Heather Grey" message yesterday, as described by others here.  I knew it was a scam, but I called number back today.  Man with Indian accent answered phone, said he was from the IRS, and mentioned my husband by name, saying that his tax return had miscalculations.  Asked me if that was my husband, and I replied that I knew there were no miscalculations on the tax return.  He then replied "why don't you come down under the table and suck my d***?"  I didn't understand him and asked him to repeat himself three times, which he did, saying the same thing each time.  I told him that I would be reporting him and hung up.  Reported this to the FTC, as suggested by the IRS.gov site.

This person Tried to say I was in trouble with IRS. But when I asked them questions he started yelling sexually obscene comments at me. It scared me. I'm glad I didn't give them any information. I knew something was wrong when I called back and they immediately answered the phone IRS. There was no automated prompts or anything.

Got same call this am as message...time sensitive & must reply don't ignore. Shem called back very HEAVY INDIAN ACCENT! Asked about amount owed & said Federal Agents coming to arrest me today! Told them my dobermans would greet them at the gate! Total scam! I actually called back to tell them I wanted to resolve & put me through to a restitution officer  Julian Marshall (even gave badge # 1096678)! He was very loud and told me I needed to answer all questions starting with have I been arrested for fraud or criminal activities in past....

I got a call from this number.  Called them back and left them a message.  My phone number is blocked and no worry about them calling me back and then I added this phone no to blocked number list.  Their message said 'legal  allegation' instead of legal action and so that is a dead give away it is a scam call.  

Received same call as others. Fake IRS agent threatening "legal action". Yet another number to add to my block list.

I got a message on my answering machine telling me it is from the IRS and I or my attorney of record should call Heather Gray or they will take legal allegation against me.

Please get the message to every taxpayer in America that someone claiming to be Julian Mitchell left a call on my voice mail to call him. I returned his call. He said he would come directly to my house, seize everything I own and jail me if I didn't have him $5000 ready by 10 a.m.  As soon as I get him the money ready I am to call him and he will tell me how to get it to him.  He  said he wasn't playing. He makes threats. hang up from him, and notify law enforcement and the  IRS.  He tells you he is not your banker and will not make arrangements for payment. There are two names they use. One is Heather Gray and Julian Mitchell. They are bad news. Very Scary.

Got a call from 585-444-6953 from a Heather Gray saying I needed to call back for a time sensitive IRS matter.  I called the number and a man with an Asian accent named Mark Brown asks me if I have a lawyer.  He then proceeds to tell me that due to a miscalculation, I owed the IRS money and they have tried contacting me three times with no response, so they have a warrant for my arrest.  I did not give them information.

Received call 8:32 am today, 5-19-2014 - same requests as in above complaints - to call this number 585-444-6953, from Hannah Gray.  IRS does not call people - I know that, they would send a notice telling you exactly what year taxes were due from and how much.  This is definitely a SCAM.  Would not even bother to call this number back!

How did you pay such an amount?    If it was by card, go to your bank and see if you can reverse charges.  If it was by green dot card, your money is lost.    Depending on how you paid them, it might be possible to reverse the transaction.

They keep calling me over a month. My dad usually picks up the phone but today I picked up. It's a scam cuz the guy has an Indian accent. So obvious. But those Indian ppl kept calling me saying my voice is so mast like my voice is so sexy. Will you go out to dinner with me. Disgust me that stupid Indians r doing it. IRS scam call from a male with a South Asian accent informing me that I'm being sued by the IRS and that I owe over $3,000 dollars and am being arrested in 30 minutes.

got this crank call?.threatened legal action?.hope such calls will stop. IRS will always communicate by mail and not on telephone!
