If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.

So, they've been calling me almost daily on my home and fax lines (both AT&T). Driving me NUTS. I keep requesting removal, but read on another blog that by pressing "1" at any time (which I did to request they stop calling), that only gets you more calls (which it did). SO, I am taking another approach... and I do NOT recommend that others try this at least until I report results! It could totally backfire, but I hope it stops them:

So, this time, I answered the call and placed a "fake" order for their service - entirely fake name, bank account, address etc. keeping them on the phone for as long as possible as they transferred me from one person to another, continuously confirming my false info until I got to the last person who was a "supervisor" to whom I revealed that nothing I had told them was true, and that I intend to waste their time to the tune of 45 minutes each and every time they call if they don't remove me from their calling list. That "seemed" to make an impact (hey, time is money even in the fraud game, right??!) but we shall see. Just think if we ALL do that....hmmm. But, as I said, it could get ugly too.

No way to otherwise report them as they keep changing their number (out of state, local, etc) and none are real. But, that's not to say that we shouldn't also continue to bug telephone providers to come up with a solution, and report it to various agencies that also have a responsibility to prevent these things from continuing. Next step is to cancel out my land lines, change numbers to unlisted, etc. but what a pain and expense. AT&T and others better figure this out or I WILL drop my phone lines!

Worst part about it (beyond annoying us) is that they are indeed preying on senior citizens. All those pleasant-sounding young women who are sucking those seniors dry. How do they justify themselves?Hope those scammers all ROT in HADES. The rat bastids!

I have DELUGED with calls for the last 2 hours.   Numbers from all over the USA.  Turns out it's all from a service called RingCentral.

It appears as these people have changed their name again.  They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions".  They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice".  They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert".  According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

I am on the do not call list, but keep getting calls.I let the machine pickup, but the are clever enough to not leave any message. I do have their calls logged on my caller ID>

No message left.  Thankfully I work most days.  Just checked my phone and it only holds 30 ID's at a time.  Out of 30 ID's .. 16 of them were fake #'s or those Washington DC calls that are not legitimate, either.  There was one legit political call. Ihate them, too but they're allowed by law as are companies you do or have done business with.  If I can think of a better solution than what KC (above) suggested I'll post it.  KC, has me laughing, still!

They keep calling, even after asking them not to... Now I read in that article that they use the registered numbers on the Do Not Call list... Why are so many bad people hi-jacking our peace?

I have received calls from this number several times. There has been no messages left. I called the number and the message and it states temporarily unavaiable

I dont live in NY so why must I get calls from there.  I live in Smyrna, TN and some reason they call me on my house number never left me a message.

These people are sick b*****ds. Using an automated system to bother people. I'm telling you guys, if you want it to stop file an official complaint against the fcc, that is the only way to get it to stop.

Got a call from this BS scam number. Listened to a long ramble about seniors and a device this company offers.  I stayed on the line and acted liked a confused senior when their Rep came on. I then asked a string of moronic questions, thought why not have fun since they interrupted my dinner.  Will their device help with my flatulence or make me less prone to explosive bowel episodes?  Will an Attendant from the company help clean me after I lapse?  Is it unusual for a senior male to lose scrotal elasticity after age 80 etc.

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana.  Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company.  Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada.  If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.

The name of this company is Elite Information Solutions out of Casselberry, Florida, but the company is using a UPS store address in Orlando for their principal place of business.  Company owner is Michael Hilgar.  This company goes by several FAKE names.  Here are a few names that they are using:  Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

It would be nice if you could zap some of these unwanted callers. Neither the gov. or the phone co. can do anything about these unwanted calls. Only thing that would really work is to get rid of the phone. Don't know how we did it, but I grew up without having a phone until I was a teenager. Maybe  us older folks should get rid of the phone so we don't break our necks trying to answer the call and get a medic alert.
