They have been after me to give info on my friend. They have been in contact with the police and it is a scam. please make a list of time called and record if possible.

The calls appear to be coming from "National Credit Works," whom we have sued in the past. We currently have 3 judgments against them that have not been paid. They owe millions of dollars in judgments across the country and are operating illegally. The best thing to do is contact your attorney general and talk to your employer, letting them know that you are being targeted by an illegal scam. Unfortunately, since we have sued this company several times in the past and have hundreds of thousands of dollars in judgments against them, we cannot sue them again and continue to lose the resources and money put into the law suit. Hi i received a call from a Tameka on my answering machine stating she's from the fraud unit and she has been looking and my file trying to understand how i got caught up in this after taking a closer look at my file she want to clear up my name so to give her a call back at her direct number 585-563-5203/585-563-5200. its very urgent that this be taken care of very soon. these people have called my in laws and told them my husband was giong to jail had my mother in law upset crying hysterical and my father in law who is a Bishop might i add praying and fasting thinking we are doing illegal activities

Just got a call from a stammering man at this number saying he was doing an audit and in his paperwork he finds no communication from me in regards to resolving this debt (um what debt? communication to who exactly regarding WHAT) and I need to call them to avoid court action. So weird.

DO NOT GIVE NCW ANY INFORMATION AT ALL.  THEY WORK OFF OF OLD CREDIT REPORTS AND ATTEMPT TO GET MONEY FROM DEBTS SOMETIMES 20+ YEARS OLD.  THEY WANT ACCNT INFO SO THEY RE-SET THE CLOCK ON THIS OLD DEBT.  THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DEBTORS PRISON FOLKS.  VERY TRUE THAT CREDITORS CAN SUE YOU, BUT THESE ASSHATS CAN NOT AND DON'T LET THEM BULLY YOU INTO THINKING THEY CAN.  OUT OF THE THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL CALLS THEY GENERATE ON A DAILY BASIS A HANDFUL WILL GET SCARED AND COMPLY WITH THEIR TACTICS.  THAT KEEPS THEM AFLOAT.  THEY WILL GO AWAY.  CHANGE YOUR CELL NUMBER, IF THEY CALL YOUR JOB THEY HAVE BROKEN THE LAW RIGHT OFF THE BAT AND THEY KNOW IT.  THEY CANNOT CALL YOUR FAMILY.  ASK YOUR FAMILY TO JUST IGNORE THEM.  I SUED THEM IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT 10 YEARS AGO AND RECEIVED $1,000. THERE ARE SURELY MORE SUITS BREWING.  KEEP YOUR VOICEMAILS, GET DOCUMENTATION FROM ANYONE OF IMPORTANCE AT YOUR JOB STATING THEY HAVE CALLED.  BREATHE AND REMEMBER NO ONE IS COMING TO YOUR HOUSE TO ARREST YOU.

got a call from this number twice. said something about an audit that i was named as primary. have no idea what that is or could be. Funny how these harassing calls never have any legal backup in black and white. like a court summons or something our lawyers can sink their teeth into.

I have been receiving calls from this company of late stating that my daddy, who is deceased for over 2 yrs now, has an outstanding debt from 1952 and I must pay it immediately since I was in charge of his affairs.  Ms. Jackson also stated that I would be arrested in the next couple of days.  Are these people crazy of just think so of us are that ignorant to pay a debt that we know nothing about.

I got a call for "April" from this number.  When I told them I'm not her, they said I must have got her old number.  I told her I've had this number over 13 years. When I said that, the caller cursed!  I told her "April" has given my number out to a lot of people, so I get a lot of calls for her... mostly bill collectors, etc.  The caller didn't say why she was looking for April, but said she would update her file, and not call me again.

dec 22  called me about a file wanted to discuss wih me  his name is mark pina got rude with him he hung up on me  called him back same guy answered the phone  swore he never talked to me before hung up me again   got everthing  recorded

I got the same call from Mark today....... He said I will be in trouble for writing bad checks........and that I owe a huge debt that I had to pay immediately or else!!!  I looked at my credit report and I don't have any outstanding debt of ANY kind........when I asked him if I could get some sort of document regarding this information he said no, it wasn't something he was even supposed to be discussing with me??? WHAT?!  He said that the file was put on his desk today and is in the process of being submitted for fraud.... if i don't pay the fine today i would be in trouble.....  I told him that i had No idea what he was talking about and i'm not paying for a debt that I have no clue that I even owe especially without getting some sort of document on..... i told him i would have to call him back....he gave me his extension number 3 times.... i think that means that if someone else picks up they are going to make up a diffrent story..... That was the last time I pick that call up.

They called me again this morning, saying this was the first time they'd ever called!  This time they used the NCW company name.  I'll be updating my complaint with the FBI.

Just received one of those frightening calls at work from 585-563-5200.  The man who called left a message stating that he could not believe that a person of my profession would be involved in anything like this at all, but never mentions what.  His name is Mark.  He sounded desperate to speak to me because I might be in some real trouble and couldn't express enough how important it was for me to contact him first before anything.  It sounded frightening to me.

Just had the same number and lady call. I know what the fair debt collection laws are, you might to check into them as well. They are not allow to tell anyone but you what they are calling for and can't contact you at work. They cant pretend it is something other than a debt if they leave a message.

Called at Job said its was for bad check righting that the Human Resource on my Job will be contacting me about this. I told her not to ever call my job and to call my cell. Her name was Mrs Tamika she said.

They just called my cell phone and then they called my job, they wanted to speak to my supervisor. Well I am the supervisor, morons,, he said he had a bad check from me well thats funny since I dont write checks. he said I will be arrested I said BRING IT.

This company is about to go under. They have shortened their playing field from 15 collectors down to 4 collectors. They are downsizing because they are about to get caught in some heavy s***. They are low life, Stupid, gut-less waists of perfectly good sperm. They are just a bunch of monkeys operating an illegal scam that has just not caught up to them yet. They can all go to hell and if you get a call from them, just ignore it as you should have something better to do.

No you will not get into trouble. No one there has any clue about how to operate a company legally. Everything they are doing is illegal. They are actually dividing the company and changing names so as to try and evade lawsuits. If you have already filed a bankruptcy then just speak only to your attorney. Dont accept calls form those idiots anymore and also notify them, if they do call you again that you are recording the call. they have to tell you that theya are collecting a debt. they cant do anything to you at all. Trust me.

i do in fact owe a pay day loan which i couldnt pay and my check didnt clear. They try to make u think that they are affiliated with some time of peocessing company which sends you to court. There years later they still call me and no court for me!!! next time they call ill tell them to f off

They just called me today. I told them I just went to court for my bankruptcy and they said it didn't matter that I am still going to be in trouble for writing a bad check. Is this possible?

I live in CO. I have debts from over 3 years ago. Since then, I have been working on my credit. Just recently, I decided to file bankruptcy.
I received a call like this late last year, she called a stated that I wrote a check with a payday loan company and the check would be considered a bad check and I would be arrested. I fell for it, but then called my lawyer who stated I should receive a statement or document from them. When I called them back, they were so rude. They told me that they don't work from me, they work for the creditor and they didn't have to send me anything. I told them to cancel the payment and I don't care because I know my rights as a consumer. Two weeks later they took the funds out. So I got my bank to investigate. My bank thought it was weird because there was no way to contact them. I got my money back, but it was a nightmare.
Strange thing I received a call from the same number that called you, but did not answer. After researching the company this morning , it does the same exact thing as the one experienced. Don't call back. They will only try to scare you by saying you will be arrested or something. It's not worth it; everything they do is illegal.

I received a call from 585-563-5200 today.  They left a message I couldn't understand completely.  It referred to electronic transfers and he said he wasn't comfortable leaving any more details on my phone message.  He asked me to call him back.  I don't think I will.  I have no outstanding debts and am not planning to transfer any funds electronically through anyone but my bank.
