I am getting calls at my job from this number. I do not appreciate it.

I received a call from two weeks ago saying the same crap! but i talked to a man in the attorney general office and he informed that they usually dont take money out of your bank account directly because it can be tracked to them directly..And if they thats only time you can file charges and they dont want that.. Thats why they ask you to usually western union or some other form payment that cant be tracked to them directly. The rep from attorney general office also told me that the only way they can take money out of your account if you authorize it. Also to call your bank and have keep a watch on it for suspicious activity.. Also this time of year when they strike most,,because of everybody doing alot of shopping online..it doesnt have to be just a payday loan scam.

I have received three phone calls from this number.  The voice mails end with "if you or your legal representative do not contact me immediately, all I can say is good luck."  I received another voice mail today from another number (484-223-2835).  The caller stated his name was Officer Jeff Thomas and he was calling from Pennsylvania.  His voice mail ended with the same last sentence...word for word. Both callers had very heavy foreign accents (not hispanic).  I contacted my local police department.  The officer was very helpful and has opened a case file.  My advise is if you are contacted by any of these people, contact you local police department or state attorneys office.  If the person contacts you at work, tell them not to call again.  They have to comply with your request.

I recieved a call from South Korea. The gentleman on the line ( in a an asian accent) was claiming to be from the New york City Civil Dept. He had claims of a payday loan I did not pay on. And that they would crash my credit and my bank account. I am current on my loan and thought this was a very fishy scam. I asked for paper work to be sent and I would gladly resolve this issue. He threatened me with a sopeona if I did not call officer Johnson. I called the #. No answer or voicemail. So I binged this number and this is where I am now. People like this are a waste of time and should be wiped off the planet.

This number is calling my job and being rude with the office management, so not ok! Don't call my job again or i will track you down and give you a personal piece of my mind along with the rest of these people reporting you also. Tired of fraud calls and people claiming to be some investigator. Dont call or answer to the number 585-638-1755..........This is a total joke and scam like everyone else says! Make it stop!!!!!

I got a call from 5856381755... didn't answer because i never answer unknown numbers, unless its a client who left me a voicemail... any ways a hispanic woman (Couldn't make out her name) but told me to call her back or else i would be in worlds of trouble. then i look on here and its a scam, so im not even gonna bother calling back because its not worth my time, and i advise everybody who gets a call from this number... then to just ignore it because all they want is your money... oh btw to the person who paid them 686 dollars... What were you thinking??? hopefully you can get that money returned because you probably paid it to some homeless person who all they want to do with it is buy booze or something of that matter

My girlfriend recieved 2 phone calls sayin she owed money for an unpaid personal laon.  They stated that they would resolve the issue with a payment over the phone with a credit card. They said that the police officers of our hometown were going to arrive at her home at 11 oclock the next day to extradite her back to new york.  She has never been ti new york!

Yes, change all of the information that you gave them.  Like you, I thought I was in trouble too and they took $100.00 out of my account, however, once I realized it was a scam it was too late.  I did change my information and now they are calling almost everyday.  Who cares...I have too many other "real" people that I owe without being scammed by these people.  I have a PI friend who will be giving them a called today.  Good Luck

I just got a call from officer Jordan Kemp I finally hung up on hi then I got a call back from Rick Johnson, I was already on this website so I asked him if he was the famous Rick Johnson that's all over the internet. He said "I don't know what you're talking about." I said "the famous Rick Johnson that's a;; over the website saying this is a scam. He hung up

I've received several calls from this nuber of collecting a debt i do not owe . Also claiming that i have a lawsuit with this debt . The caller has an indian accent and claims to be an officer for tha small claims court in NY. I have asked for the letter pertaining to my case to be mailed to me . This has yet to happen . I've been receiving calls since May 2011 I got a call today saying that officers will be sent to my place of work to arrest me and that i would lose my job . This is becoming very agravating and stressfull to my family and I > he is claiming to be a cheif ray johnson phone number 585 638 1755:located 111 centre street new york New York 10013 .

I also received a call...unfortunately I ended up giving them my debit card nimber and code.. And they said to fax them a letter so they can continue to process with charging it.. They claimed they didnt get it and wanted me to refax... By then I told them I already knew what was goin on and who they were... My question is do I still need to cancell my account and open a new one??? Some one pls advice me.thanks

I recieve this call everyother day from a guy saying that he is a Fraud officer and that I am being sued for non payment of a loan. He has a very very heavy accent(sounds indian or pakistanie or something close to that). He couldn't even pronounce my name and it is very hard to understand him. I make him leave a message, which in return he leaves a message for me or my attorny to return his call to 585-638-1755. I know I don't have any unpaid loans so kiss my patutti! Send me my your fake subpoena. The number he is calling from is 825-892-23911 which is a fake number which he is able to call from and it will show up as an 911 call as well.

I too am getting calls for the same bs. He calls from a kenya number and his name is officer Anderson. says hes american, but doesn't speak english well.

This idiot is a scammer, from what I understand he use to work for a Pay Day Loan Company & was Fired.  He stole as much information as he could about the people who access pay day loans.  He claims he is from the Fraud Investagation Firm and he is Representing Total Cash Advance.  I checked this name and it doesn't exist.  Be very Careful...He sounds desperate.......

I received a phone message from a man with a strong accent. I barely understood what was being said. He, too, said I was being sued for fraud. I tried calling the number provided and nothing...something needs to be done about this. It's ridiculous!

these idiots rick johnson brian smith etc call from 585 412 402 and about 4 other numbers --- they even got my mothers number and called threatening her scaring the living piss out of her ..... lot of balls idiots see what you think now that the wire taps are in place and all calls coming into this house are being monitored ... BTW 585 cloaked thru frontier communications REAL dumb there

Recieved a call that went to my voicemail saying his name is Jack Morrow form dept. of fraud investigation saying i have a lawsuot against me and said my social and drivers license number but wrong state.  Says have to call him back to verify my social security number witgin two days or the lawsuit will be filed against me.   Not sure for what?    Seems like a scam.  Going to my local police dept to have them listen to the message.

I received a call from a "Kevin Foster" (thick india accent) on Aug. 30 2011, I did not answer the phone because the number was 12 digits long. He left a voice mail says he was an officer from NY, he said a lawsuit was filed against my sister and I was named as a reference..He had my name and my sister's name.. How he got those I haven't a clue. .he left the number  585-638-1755. if i did not call him back I WOULD BE IN BIG TROUBLE... he was sending investigating team to my home and my work and I would lose my job... YEAH RIGHT... I work with the Police Dept... wouldn't that be a hoot, if someone trying to fraud someone shows up at the Police Dept...

I forgot Kevin Foster is also using Skype that allows him to call from your area code so that you will answer his calls.  He is of Indian or Asian decent and you can not understand what the heck is saying.  You have to ask him four or five times to repeat.  Any loan company trying to collect a debt would not in their right minds use someone of this nature.  HAPPY HEAD HUNTING MR FOSTER.  EVERYONE HAS YOUR NUMBER GO BACK TO INDIA WHERE YOU CAME FROM.

I have received several phone calls from a Mr. Kevin Foster and a Katie Johnson using telephone number 585-638-1755.  Mr Foster says he is from The NY Civil Court and said on more than 1 occasion that he is going to have me arrested at 8:00 a.m. on a certain given day.  He knows my DL number, checking account number (I had it changed) , the bank that I use and my SS number (no idea how he gets this info).  When I question him on who he is calling for, he gets real nasty and said that there are more than 120 companies that he works for, all he says is that it is a cash advance company.  I asked him when I received the loan all he says is in 2010.  He can not give you an amount, he says between 2 and 3 hundred dollars and he is trying to collect $5,000.  WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?  Last call I received from him I got real ugly with him and said I was not going to fall for his dumb little scam.  He hung up on me.  I received a call the next day and I said you need to send me in the mail all the information I need.  I have not heard from him in about  2 weeks.  I have a SURPRISE for him next time he calls.  I also have all recorded all his nasty voice messages.

This man "Kevin Foster" called my work and told me that if i did not call him at 585-638-1755 that me and my manager were going to be taken in to custody at 8 am tuesday morning  aug. 23 2011 if we did not call him or have our attorney call him if we did not want to go to jail. i hung up on him so now the same man and one woman has called my cell phone and told the same cockamimi story that i owed them money they never said how much or what for. this is bull s**t..sad that they have to go and try to scam hard working people.......

Yes you need to close your checking account..This happened to a friend of mine so I have been reading up on all these post.  Some people have had money taken from there checking account.  If they have your checking account number you need to change it.
