Call from 585-645--0070. A guy left a message to call them back at 855-291-4669, extension 308. I called to get off their list. Young guy on the phone said there was no extension 308, then tried to get me to hold. I asked for the company name. He said BSI & Associates. He said they were a legal representative firm. Would not give me any other information, could not find anyone with that extension, looked up my number and said I was not in their system.

Asked him to remove my number - he got nasty, said I could be that way but they would stay after me. He could not tell me why the call came. I reiterated to not call me again and hung up.

Some sort of collection or scam.

Made the mistake of answering.  Something about garnishing wages, I'm retired. Bla, bla. Relentless in their calling.

These people are really good of getting you to say anything. How did they get to my husband's cell phone that no one knows about it. He said I owed a company that I never heard before $800 and they already sent information down to the court for me to get my butt in jail. I asked if he can send me the bill and he said that he doesn't have it because it was gone to court. I asked him so why he's keep calling me and he said just to let me know that he's willing to come down with an amount and everything will be dismissed. These guys are really good, they will tell you anything by breaking into your skin, and if they are attorneys why are they threatening people. Please do not fall for it, they are all the same. Attorneys never left any personal information on your answering machine. These people know everything. I don't think they will stop if I tell them the person you are trying to reach had dead 2 years ago, maybe they will stop. Just a thought.

This is JT Keller & Associates. They guy who originally called me claimed to be come kind of arbitrator.  They also claim to be attorneys.  They called me about a "Serious Matter".  When I called back, I got some snot nosed bi%ch who was very rude, would not answer questions, and kept commenting about a payday loan, and how the were going to garnish my wages, take me to court and sue me, and how I was guilty of passing bad checks over state lines, which is a felony.  I tried to tell them that I could not talk to them about any of this until I contacted my attorney.  The woman told me that if I was filing bankrupsy, that would do no good because I could not file on this debt because passing bad checks was a felony.  She told me this several times in a couple of different ways.  Now, in my case, I did have a series of payday loans that I did over the internet, and all of them were paid back except the last one . . . however, this happened in 2008, and this is the first time I have been contacted about it.  (My bank account that the payment was supposed to come out of was overdrawn at the time, and they never made a second attempt to get their money).  They threatened to sue me, have be brought up on federal charges, to have me served at my work, and a few more things I don't remember because I stopped listening at that point.  I contacted an attorney, told him everything, and asked what I should do.  He told me that they are lying to me, trying to scare me into making some kind of agreement because the statue of limitations was coming due on this debt.  The idea is if they get me to make any kind of payment or agreement to make payments, that starts the statue of limitations all over again, and gives them more time to collect.  I suggest anyone getting a call from this number or this company should contact an attorney and get advice, and do not give them any personal information.
