called me and when i answered i couldn't understand a thing they said (garbled), so i called it back, and lo and behold, received the same garbling.

Same thing - I did not answer and they no message left. Getting more and more non-traceable calls from local area code and am finding more blogs saying they are from scammers trying to access cell phones.

this number has called me 3 times in the past week.... not sure who it is, but tired of this obnoxiousness.

this number 585-672-3815 but you can not call it back- they our cell phone looking for someone we have never heard of stating they were "Agent" mike on behalf of some vision company about a serious matter but to call a different number back 800-666-8227. Very odd as a Curtsy to the caller we just tried to inform them that we just received this number and do not know this person but it just rings.
