These people called me and said I owed for some loan , then called back the next day and said I owed for something completely different. I think they need to get their stories straight. I verified with my bank that this is a scam. BEWARE EVERYONE.

just a bank card, nice try, why don't you get a real job and then you would sleep better at night,
no way would i return your call, you want me to leave my name and number when you just called me.
go away and stop harrassing us!!!!!!!!!!!
Gunnar 2013-07-03 16:15:13 Unknown
Just give it a little more time "adam". You'll screw up, anger the wrong person & then you WILL be fired and your fraud shop will be fined into non-existence. Just look around "adam". Western NY is now on every Consumer Attys. "Hit list". As it should be, seeing that it has the western hemispheres largest concentration of scum-sucking, fraudulent debt collectors.
Put it in writing! MAIL it! NO excuses "adam". If you don't provide the legally required notice of validation to the debtor, it proves that you're just another "Buffalo-Boy" who's full of BS!
Skeff Ett Liv!

I have never broken any FDCPA regulation laws if I did I would be fired and fined instantly thank you very much it shows the character of all you people

This isn't a discussion as to whether or not we should "pay our bills"--
This is about consumers' rights when it comes to the collection of debts.
Thanks for playing.

State of New York AG is KAREN DAVIS your an idiot bud you all are and wow I did not know I was being graded on a blog about my company's phone number your all incompetent and should probably just stop scamming the system and pay your bills
ANonieMouse 2013-06-28 05:12:03 Unknown
---> Adam cunningly concocted, "... I have spoke with my states attorney general today Karen Davis today and she assured me that ..." <---
That would be really impressive were it not for the fact that there is no state attorney general named "Karen Davis." See: http://www.naag.org/current-attorneys-general.php

What an imagination! You should go into fiction writing, oh but then you would have to be a lot more literate, so I guess the urine soaked boiler room you work in now is the best place for you after all.
I'm having a great day laughing at incompetent scammers like you. What kind of day are you having?

Its okay I have spoke with my states attorney general today Karen Davis today and she assured me that we are accredited by the BBB which is the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and she assured me that she will be looking at you IP addresses to see who is harassing innocent people on this blog. And a chain of title is used at the company we give our customers the number to NCR who has access to every chain in title on a piece of debt in the united states all of you can have a great day!!!!!
MJG 2013-06-27 16:32:59 Unknown
Gee, I hope "Debra" & "Walter" are well paid by their scamming company. I wonder how "Walter" found this site in the first place - especially since he took care of his problem !!??? Suspended drivers license = funny!!! There is no way that would happen, Wally AND as for the uniformed officer coming to your workplace - what uniform was it - McDonald's or Wendy's - or maybe Pizza Hut delivery????
ANonieMouse 2013-06-27 16:13:56 Unknown
So someone sent you some official looking papers and told you to call a number to verify their chain of title. And because they said they had chain of title, you believed it!
Well, you happen to owe me $6,350. I can give you a number to call to check it out. When you call that number and hear them verify that fact, you will have two hours to go down to Walmart to put $6,350 into a new Green Dot card and call me again with all the information and codes on the back of that card to prevent a restraining order against you, your Social Security Number, your drivers' license, and your library card, and to avoid spending six months in jail.
I can play this game, too.
So you told Mr. Banks to provide you with a letter? Sounds like you are committing Banks fraud to me. Ba dum bump.
ANonieMouse 2013-06-27 16:00:18 Unknown
No. A "chain of title" is a legitimate term of art. It refers to something that debt collectors often lack. When they can't prove they have it, the debt collector doesn't have standing to be able to sue you in court to collect the debt. And if you are scammed into paying someone who doesn't have it, you are still subject to be sued successfully by another party who does.

72 my a**. I'm pretty sure if you were 72, not only would you not be talking like that, you would also know how to use proper grammar.
Tyrann 2013-06-26 21:08:02 Unknown
Isn't "chain of title" a term scammers invented to make themselves sound more legit?
Tyrann 2013-06-26 21:06:55 Unknown
Nothing you said is legal or makes sense. The desperation is just oozing out of you into your posts.
Bad day in the boiler room? Good.
Shill Alert 2013-06-26 21:00:51 Unknown
Oooh "chain of title" that's some sophisticated scamming there LOL.
What color crayons did you use to print this "letter"?
Debra 2013-06-26 20:56:19 Unknown
That's exactly what I did as soon as the first phone call was made I told Mr. Banks to provide me a letter to my house he asked what would work best email, fax, or paper mail. I of course said paper mail within 3 days there was a letter with a correct letter head and the validation letter had a number to call to check chain of title. I called that number they told me that they have chain of title so im safe as soon as they said that i made the payment thank you for that i appreciate it a ton
Hatemesometelemarketers 2013-06-26 20:35:01 Unknown
Denise, if they call again, tell them you want verification of the debt mailed to you. You don't need to get a lawyer, you aren't going have someone come to your house or your job. Legitimate collection companies will send you the verification no question asked. The ones that don't want to or kick up a fuss are scammers.
Don't provide the caller with any information at all. A legit company will already have your address.
In addition, a legit agency MUST state at the beginning of the call they are calling about a debt and any information given will be used to collect. Even if a message is left.
For all you shills on this thread, legit companies play by the rules and don't threaten people or play games.
Thia 2013-06-26 20:34:31 Unknown
Accredited by the "county?" What county? Because the COUNTY wouldn't give them jurisdiction, even if such a thing existed. (Hint: it doesn't.) Lol. I'm pretty sure they'd revoke you anyway, just based on your inability to differentiate between "their" and "there." Not only are you a scammer, but a barely functioning illiterate scammer (which probably says a lot about the reason you run these extortion attempts).
Also:
IT IS -ILLEGAL- FOR A DEBT COLLECTOR TO CLAIM TO BE A GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVE
from Federal Trade Commission website FAQ's on Fair Debt Collection Practices Act: False statements. Debt collectors may not lie when they are trying to collect a debt.
For example, they may not:
falsely claim that they are attorneys or government representatives [..]
indicate that papers they send you are legal forms if they aren?t; or
indicate that papers they send to you aren?t legal forms if they are.

I think "desperate" certainly nails it. This one's probably worried about running out of meth before stealing enough to replenish its supply!
Debra 2013-06-26 20:25:50 Unknown
Except this company was accredited by the county and there corporate office is in New york and I called my states AG office and they said check systems is a real accredited company keep scamming the government you losers. your just finding ways not to pay. i was not letting my credit score be ruined but obviously the youth in this country does not believe in this now have a great day scums of the earth
Thia 2013-06-26 19:56:50 Unknown
...except the "county court clerks [sic] office" doesn't have diddly squat to do with any debt collections, and would never send a letter.
You're a scammer, and a poor one at that.

What a load of bull. A "nice man" who wants to extort money from as many victims as possible.
Your failed to convince anybody, your whole life is a failure, so go back to the urine-soaked boiler room you came from and hope the next sucker you call hasn't heard about your FILTHY SCAM.

LOL @ Kindrix & Mary Walker making a fuss about someone posting a warning from the FTC about scam artists. If said company is legit and abiding by debt collection laws, why would a warning from the FTC get everyone in an uproar? Seems to me someone is a bit angry or upset about having their scam revealed.
Bottom line, make sure you get validation of any debt anyone says you may or may not owe. Never give out your personal information over the phone to someone because they say you owe them a debt. Get educated and know your rights.
