I got a call from them. They didn't work with me too much, but they split the payment into 3 months and I made the first payment now. Not sure about all these other complaints, but this was my experience. I guess they were good for a collection agency, but not great.

MLA Holdings is not registered with the Texas Secretary of State, 3rd Party Collectors must put up a surety bond before they can legally attempt to collect a debt in Texas.  The State of Texas can & does prosecute violators.  SOS web site has searchable list of compliant debt collectors.

I have been called and harassed by a company going by UPS LLC, who states that they bought a debt from MLA Holdings LLC. Now my first question is why didn't the original supposed creditor call me and say I defaulted on a supposed loan? Why just sell it to a debt collector? Second questions, Why would the original debt collector sell the debt to a second debt collector without trying to scare some money out of me? These people are completely bogus, and honestly, I hope they all rot in hell. UPS LLC has been calling me for months and months, and have been threatening me with civil and criminal charges, but they have never sent me a debt validation letter, even though I have requested one more than 18 times. Also, do they not realize that payday loans are illegal in the state of CT therefore making them uncollectible in the state of Connecticut. Also, I have not taken out any payday loans, due to the fact if I need a loan, my 800 credit score will suffice to get me a traditional loan through my Bank. I make $4,783.00 (without overtime), and my monthly expenses are only 1865.00 per month, so why the hell would I need some payday loan! Nice try Scumbags, but on another note please send the police to my house! Maybe I can arrest myself!!!! Oh did I forget to mention that I have been a State Trooper for the past 9 years!

I'm so sick of you at home debt collector scumbags who buy and sell some bogus loan information from some online account for pennies on the dollar and think you can call and threaten us by stating you have "legal paperwork" to deliver to a person's home or office. I say go ahead and bring it to me, I've had 13 different scumbags trying to threaten me with bringing me to court. Go ahead, I'm waiting for it! No one has shown up at my door, and why? Because you don't have s*** to stand on, can't even provide the proper paperwork (validation of debt) to prove there was a loan supplied. You will have to supply the proper paperwork to me or the courts and you haven't done either. So many scams out there, people protect yourself from these scumbags and ask for proper paperwork before handing over any money to them. They will have to supply you with validation of debt or to the courts. If they have not supplied you with the paperwork and end up in court, tell the judge they did not supply it and he will ask for it.

I am kind of impressed and disappointed with all these comments, I feel like reading a diary from the penitentiary where all thieves complain about receiving a loan but when they did not pay it back they got in trouble. Come on People! what reaction do you expect, not only from these companies, but from anyone who lend you some money if you don't pay it back? let's be reasonable, I have receiving loans from NationalPayDay.com since 2005 and I have never had a problem with them, why? TOO EASY, when it is time to pay,  I pay, if you don't have the money available in full, then just talk! every time I can't pay it back in full I just talk to them and they always help me by extending day or splitting the amount into 2 or 3 payments. Stop crying for problems that you people created by not being responsible and don't blame payday companies for your mess and irresponsibility to pay a debt just like any other!

You people who are complaining are disturbing.You come to blog about Mr zeller because things didn't work out for you and probably because of you!Mr Zeller helped me out of trouble when i knew i was guilty and knew the hard road me and my family would be enduring because of MY bad decisions.Without Mr Zellers hard work I would have never reached an arbitration agreement I could afford and cease all legal proceedings that I knew I would be eventually facing,with Mr Zellers help thank god I wont have to see that day!


P.S this wasn't my first time going though this, the last time I didn't heed an arbitrators advise I had a judgement of 6500.00 placed on me and a lein placed on my home which ruined my marriage.

rec'd a call from joe zeller stating he is filing criminal paperwork through my county sherrif cuz I owe on a debt that I haven't even heard of ...he said he is just calling to let me know.
