These people are vipers and NEED TO BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!

Panasonic cordless phones (the current generation) have a 250 number call blocker built in... or you can buy a Digitone call blocker (more limited) or do what I did and use a computer to act as call answering machine and call blocker. Currently I am using software called CallClerk to act as a blocker. I have it set to allow only calls on my Whitelist and block all others. Working great so far.

The problem with "blocking the calls," is that phone numbers can be spoofed or even rented on a daily basis.  They can change numbers frequently...and they do.  The don't look up your number, hence. the Do Not Call registry is useless.  They have machines that robo-dial sequences of numbers.  The worst thing you can do is pick up a call like this. When you do, they know they have a 'live one.'  Screen your calls, folks.

Number came up with a Country Code prefix, didn't bother answering, no message left.

These people keep calling, if you answer no one is there, and if you don't they won't leave a message on the answering machine.
Ok Mr Obama do something useful for a change, and STOP these unwanted phone calls.

This is a fundraising charity line. They called me asked for me by first name. When I asked who was calling they refused to say. The girl decided to sit there and just type. Told her don't call anymore. Called the number back and found out it is a fundraising charity line.  WTF!!!! I truthfully believe do not call means do not call. That list should stand for everyone!!

Called from Armada, MI  and didn't leave a message. Automatic call system apparently as my answering machine picked up and it caught the automatic dial of the next number,

This number has called twice. No message left on answering machine. Called I.D. says Michigan Call.

Received a call from 586-473-0001. Did not pick up and caller did not leave a message. Caller was from muchigan

I have received several calls from this number and I so tired of running to the phone to  find out it is something like this.  I will not answer a call I don't know  and sometimes ones I do know - depends on my mood-  PLEASE STOP THE NONSENSE YOU CAN'T MAKE MONEY FORM ME.

If you call these numbers back, you ususlly get the option to remove your number from their list.

I return called 586-473-0001 (fund raising #)and listened to a message about how charities and fund raising organizations are exempt from Do Not Call list.  The message gave instructions on how to have your # removed from their call list, so I did it.  Let's hope it works.  

I receive calls from this number at least 3 times a day. I am on the do not call list, I ask them to remove my number please.  They then call back and call me the B word.

Why do people complain about these calls. Do not pick up any number you do not recognize. If any one really wants to contact you, they will leave a message with a call back number. Also I wonder why fund raisers of non profit organizations and charities are paid millions in salary? Can't they donate their services to these charities?

Constantly calls...no message...or if answered, no one on line..

I got a call from this number today. After checking here I blocked the number. I used to be angry and frustrated by telephone spam. For years and years I suffered getting up to run to the phone, only to find out it was spam. Recently, I needed a new set of phones around the house and I found a set which will block up to 250 numbers!: Panasonic KX-TG6843B :I bought a set with three handsets for about $70.00, but it can be bought with different quantities of hand sets at different prices. When it arrived and I set it up...BAM!...spam calls. I blocked five numbers the first day alone. Each and every time one popped up I checked online and then blocked it. It's been a couple months and now I do not get many spam calls. One a week, perhaps. Ahh, the peace and solitude. Many people do not realize there are phones available which will block incoming numbers.

Calls from charities are exempt from the Do Not Call List. So are calls soliciting political funds. And so are calls taking a survey. And hen, there are a lot of calls from those who do not honor the Do Not Call List.

Yes, uninformed, had retreating brain stall!

Plus the occasional idiot that gets sucked in... or was that was what you were trying to say via "....uniformed".
