Just received a call from them. As I don't donate to any over-the-phone solicitor, I just said "no thanks" and hung up.

586-501-3311 is A SCAM COMPANY OUT OF either center line or sterling heights. They pretend to be a charity: there is no giving hearts charity registered.

I am on do not call registry so please stop calling me daily.  I just answer and immediately hang up so I do not have to hear your number ringing 5 times....  I will keep reporting you every time you call me....

5 second call, heard nothing.  2nd call in two weeks

This lot need to have the boom lowered on them...but how?  The FTC won't help.

This lot are from an adjacent area code...if what Suzie Q said is accurate (and there's no need to believe it isn't) and they're posing as a charitable organisation they deserve a bloody good telling-off.

My daughter was called a liar and dirty names when she told the african american girl from Giving Hearts I was not home!!!! This is horrible!!!!! I am reporting them to the AG in Mi. What kind of training is this when they want business they need to try and be nice to the caller and not call children liar's and horrible dirty names. The call came from 1-586-501-3311. Report them!!!!

I called the number, you have the opton to leave a message to be removed from their calling list, at least that is what they say.

This number has called once a day for the last several weeks without leaving a message.  Caller ID says "Giving Hearts."  They are trying to sell home improvement services.  The odd thing was they called my father by his first name.

Any chance this is related to the disabled veterans scam that used to send out the mailing labels?

Geez, what is this?  A soap opera?  Just say what happened regarding the phone number.

It's a scam-
If you buy the windows, they are selling, they (supposedly) make a  (very small) donation to Giving Hearts.  It's just a way to get around the DNC list.
I have notified Giving Hearts that their name is on caller ID's to try to fool people.
No response from them.  They are probably in on the scam.
Don't donate to Giving Hearts.

Just received another call. When prompted to press 3 to speak to a representative to be taken off their donot call list, the phone is disconnected. I am sick of getting these calls! But the message left as a voice mail is    do you want to learn how to get a lower interest rate on your credit card?

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.
