This is a scam caller, not a legitimate caller, posing as World Gym at Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, MI, stating that you won 2 free gym memberships. Calls from both 586-566-3491 and 586-566-3387.

I set my fax to call this number for about an hour.  Boy isn't VOIP great.

yeah guys, it's all true, I work there...they have a whole brigade of youngin's in the back hallways constantly calling people while smoking and screwing around. no i don't do that, but was unimpressed with the fact that the guy who they hired to run a marketing group would tell these little s**** to lie and hang up...they did that to my husbands cell, NO ONE put your name in for a raffle...seriously, they should just honestly say why their calling.it's a great deal.  guess the mktg guy hasnt a clue on how to market eh?

ill say it again this gym is great, yes it seems shady with a phonecall to everyone cell phone, i got it like 10 times and i went in to tell them in person to take me off there list listen to a young kid give me a sales pitched thought about it and got it, i love the gym and for a lil over 106 buck and 4 different locations i love it, comopared to the 450 i was paying over at level fit..

this is not a scam caller, i got the call and i went in, and they signed me up for 106 dollars for 1 year membership. best deal ever gym might be a little busy at rush time but other than that it is great. all you pay is a 10$ card fee and 8 bucks a month GRAET DEAL

So I got the call too at about 8pm and my husband recieved it like 2mins before i did. The lady seemed friendly and legit till after i got off the phone my husband called to let me know he recieved a call as well! So i searched world gym at 23mile in Shelby twp MI I got the number called the gym the guy whom answered had not a clue what i was talking about but did say he would make sure it didnt happen again. Funny thing is that my husband being a police officer actually made the call back from the number that showed on his caller id from the jail office. The lady sounded scared shitless but did say that she was working through WORLD GYM!

i asked if theres a number to call back at and they go the one that showed up on your caller id.

do know that they can make their caller id show up as something else

Located in Utica, just searched it in yellowpages.com, its a residential number

Received call on cell phone @ 5:00Pm today 12-01-2008. did not answer as did not recognize the number (586-566-3387).  My carrier is AT&T.  I resent these commercial calls to my cell phone. typed in number to reach this site. apparantly call is from a World Gym in Shelby Twp MI (As am I)

Hi, I am a t-mobile customer, me & my best friend on the family & friends plan got the call, but the 3rd on the line didn not get it.... weird? I figured it was a scam, I already have a membership somewhere, why would I try to win another???

I have sprint and I get those calls all the time. they tell me that I won two 2-yr passes. and all I have to pay is $8 a month for some insurance purpose. Needless to say I finally told the girl I am not interested and to put me on her DO NOT CALL LIST!

Also recieved calls from this number. My fiancee and I both within a minute of one another. No voice mail. I find it highly un-likey that someone would submit an application at a gym with BOTH of our numbers and names and find it MORE ironic that we both recieved calls 1 minute apart. Sounds like some type of scam brewing to me.

Hey, this World Gym called my wife's cell and later that day, called my cell.  They knew our names, we NEVER give out our cell number.  Is everyone else that got calls also have t-mobile?  They told both of us that we won 2 free 2 year passes. All we have to pay for is insurance of $4 or $9 a month.  They said my name and # was on someone's application.  They couldn't produce a that name for me.  I'm ready to call t-mobile... please reply if your a t-mobile customer also.
