Thanks to all, for posting this information.  I'm a frequent poster, but since I don't answer any call I don't recognize, I'm not much help on identifying information.  However, sometimes it helps to know the sheer magnitude of calls perpetrated on unsuspecting, potential victims.  One of these days, probably when I'm long dead and gone, someone will find a way to prosecute these individuals.  My call, from this number, was received on 5/1/14 at 3:14PM.  I've not received any other calls, before or since, but if I do, I'll be sure to update this blog.  Caller ID display is "Out of Area".        

Yes, but if you have the time, you can reduce their income and scamming ability by keeping them on the line as long as possible.

They continue to call.  What fun.  I can't understand a word they say.  I just tell them to f*** off and hang up. Then I report the call to the DNC.  SSDD.

Where's the option in the drop down to call this 'scammer'???  It doesn't fit any of the other items on the list.  It is closest to telemarketer but they aren't truly selling you anything...they want your credit card number to steal your money.

The calls are not just to cell phones.  In fact the majority of them appear to be to home phones.

The site https://www.donotcall.gov/ is working just fine.  That said, the only way registering for the site does any good is if everyone reports calls that are not permitted.  Sadly calls like from this number are robocalls meaning the phone number is spoofed so it won't work to report it.  But...I still report them anyway.

These people keep calling. Free Walmart or Target gift card. I have told numerous times to give card to someone else and take my name off list. If you ask to speak to a manager they hang up on you. They don't give up and I am sick of them.

Your cell phone should have a function to block calls of these types...that's what I do, just add the number to the block list and they can't call again.

It's against the law for them to call you before 8:00AM.

Bombarded with calls by this number.  Annoying!!  Scam-do not deal with.

The Robo-Dial software they use dial multiple numbers at once, so they just connect to the first one that answers and go into the con (leaving the other ones with dead air). This is illegal with real telemarketers. Since its a scam in the first place and they don't have to worry about being traced or prosecuted. They could care less that its annoying.

The representative on the phone kept trying to get  me to give him my Credit card number.  I told him numerous times, that I was not interested with anything he was trying to sell me.. He then began to swear at me, and tell me that if I didn't give him my credit card number, he would lose his job, and he wouldn't be able to feed his kids, and that it would be my fault.  I told him if he contacted me again, I would call the police, and he laughed and said I can go to hell, and that there's not way I could trace this call back to him.  Since then, I have received a call every half hour from that number.  I contacted my phone carrier a few minutes ago, so I now have that number Blocked. I  then called that number back, and had asked the Rep how he got my number, he told me he got it from Target Stores...... I've never shopped at a Target Store, and never plan on it!!!!  Red flags popped up very quickly.  When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he told me to go f*** myself and hung up.

The Do Not Call List only works with legitimate telemarketers. These are nothing more than organized scams. They use VOIP(so it costs them nothing) with spoofed numbers that they change often & Robo-Dial software (dialed sequentially,so having an unlisted number won't help either). Complaining to the FCC is a waste since they're well  outside of U.S  jurisdiction.
They expect a 99.5%.Hang-up rate and Unfortunately, the few people stupid enough to fall for this makes it well worth their while. keeping them on the line and messing with them is really only a waste of your time.

This number called me last night at 10:23pm. No message was left. Not sure why they think they can call so late.

Got an initial call from another number claiming to be Solar America.  After I hung up they called back this time from this number

I got a call today in the evening. Caller ID said "Warren". I did not answer the phone. This is the third time I have received calls from this number.

have call from this # almost daily.  I have been successful with these type of calls mentioned in posts.  I got myself a police whistle.  Got rid of one fellow after about 3 calls by answering the call, not saying one word.  Just blow as hard as you can on your police whistle and be assured they get an earful.  

They just called me also and hung up after I said hello a few times.  Thanks for all of the great input everyone!!  I am rejecting the number.  They will probably try again with a different one  later but for now they are REJECTED!!!!!!

Personal Information.

This number has called about 6 times in the last two weeks. I findly answered . He could not speak very well, said he was from Chicago. I told him that he was a scam and hung up.

Can you give me a couple of these words in Hindi?

They've called me 3 times so far thinking it could be a customer and when I answered a machine said "Goodbye" and hung up.

Got this call quite a few times in the last 2 weeks. This time, the # came up... previously it was "no caller ID". They claim to be calling from "Solar America" for efficient solar panels for your home. They all call with foreign accents. This time when I advised the fellow I wasn't interested, they hung up.  I called the number back and it comes up a number to get your gift card voucher... OBVIOUSLY this is a scam company. When I pressed 1, Someone with a foreign accent answered asking my name. I told him I'm not giving that out I asked them to stop calling my home being that I'm on the do not call list! He said he will take me off the list. Wait, do you know my #? Yes your number is and he repeats my number. So If they call again next time, I'm telling them the FBI is tracing my calls for scammers.  I can't stand this

Called 5:26 pm. I screen all my calls & did not recognize the number. Caller ID said out of area & no message was left. I am on do not call list also. I am NOT pleased!
