Caller asked for my husband by first name and then hung up.  Very annoying

I have several calls from this number and do not answer the phone. This isn't the only robo call I have been getting for weeks. If I do not know the caller, I just do not answer. Last year I sent a check for disabled vets and I have been bombarded with letters for donations. I the past several months I have received about 2,000 address labels, coins, bookmarks and note pads as "gifts" for a donation. I will never give donation again from a phone call!  I think someone sold my info to other telemarketers.

I think it's a scam for Vet of America and a similar call for Police Benevolent association.  Never stops calling and doesn't look like a legit operator for either charity.

just gat a call from this number, the guy asked for mrs smith (not my real name) I simply asked who is calling and he hung up, I tried to call back and it is disconnected.

Began blocking this number in December after answering initial phone call and getting similar experience to those above. Whoever it is now calls EVERY DAY (I can see in my "missed calls" when blocked numbers try to call me), trying 6 or 7 times in very rapid succession. Calling the number still results in a "this number is disconnected" message. Would love to report this person but not sure how when the caller ID is spoofed.

Just received a call from this number...  He knew all the names of the household, he did leave his name, Alex and when asked what it was regarding, he hung up....  With all of the scams out there, DO NOT ANSWER A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.

called my house this am but did not leave a message (3 seconds on the answering machine then a hang-up).  this web site is FUN--great intel. I almost want to stay home tomorrow to see if he calls again and asks me about disabled vets and then drops f-bombs. LOL

Called me by my name and asked for a donation for the disabled vets. Told him we couldn't afford anything and call went silent for a while then tried asking for just $10. Told him please do not call back

Got a call this afternoon from this number. No one responded at first and then came on to ask to send a donation card to me for veterans that needed wheelchairs and walkers. When I didn't show interest, as his articulaton was not all that good (I am a veteran) he hung up on me. When I called this number back that was displayed on my caller iD, it said this number was disconnected.

Just received a call from this number asking for my husband by first name but would not leave a message and then hung up.  The number came up as unknown on the caller id, so I decided to look it up and also got the the name Anthony Amore as well as this website.  A name like Anthony Amore!  Yuck!  I agree it sounds like he could be a pervert.

received a very poorly articulated call from this number (586 792 6641)  at  2PM  1-13-12  asking for $10.00 donation for Vets -  CALL WAS SO POORLY WORDED AND SPOKEN (WAS MEANT TO BE PHONE SOLICITATION TYPE
CALL FROM AN AUTO-DIALER) THAT IT WOULD BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCEPT    -OBVIOUSLY A SCAM

I'm getting calls from this number and others that are bogus pretty regularly. Very annoying. I've already contacted the police and have good documentation.

Received call late in am - no response when I answered, but stayed on phone. Sounded like a prank call or a pervert.

I received 2 calls from this number in 2 days, asking for donations for disabled vets.

They wanted me to donate to the VA hospital, said I was a Vet and go there, and I donate to VFW and DAV, they hung up....How rude

Called my home this am. did not leave msg. looked up; anthony amore. 14 mile rd. just N of Gratiot in Clinton Twp. I agree it's a scam.

Got a call from this number and there was no one on the line after repeated "hellos".  Called it back and it said the number was disconnected.

Calling and hanging up? Another site said the number was for Anthony Amour and he was a telemarketer rerouting through a phony phone number. Definitely should be investigated by the authorities.

Just got a call from this number, no one was on the line.  Called back, says it is disconnected.  Odd.

I get daily calls from this number.  I believe he has said his name is Robert Johnson.  Half the time if I pick up, it hangs up.  Other times he asks for someone by name, as if he knows them.  Example:  Hi, Linda......expecting to catch you off guard.  
If I call back this number it says the number has been disconnected!!!!  If it was disconnected they wouldn't be making calls from it!
Yesterday when he asked if this was 'Linda', I said 'No' and he gave a disgusted sound and hung up.

Seriously going to report this number to authorities.

Then someone identified it as a telemarketer  - weird
