I called number back and it gives you an option to remove you from their list.

Called this morning. Came up Skype call?  Gonna block it!

yep, got the call today, reported it as i am on the do not call registry.  automated call, solicitation.  luckily I have verizon which lets you block up to 5 numbers for free, added this bad boy today.  good riddens.

They identify themselves as WN Positions, job placement.  I believe this is a scam.

keeps calling...and no one will tak....i blocked the number.

Answered phone, dead silence.  No response, so I hung up.

What can be done to stop calls from this number ?

This is an automated solicitation.  A recorded voice identifying "himself" as Joseph starts with an pitch and then "pauses" to allow a person to respond... then it is followed by a series of canned responses or questions to simulate conversation, when, in fact, you can say anything and it won't affect the "resposnes"  

For example...
Joseph:  How are you today?
ME:  I'm far better than you, you $#()&*#$() A#$*&Hole!
Joseph:  That's nice
ME  Did you hear me, you$*&#$)&#$?  I'm gonna track you down and maim you like the mangy #$()&@#$&* that you are!
Joseph:  I'm sorry to hear that
ME"  Yeah... as if you actually can "hear"
Joseph:  Chuckling... That's nice
ME:  I'm going to tie up your line by not hanging up, thereby causing you and/or your #@$()*&()&*$# company to WASTE YOUR MONEY
Joseph:  That's nice
ME:  The longer I tie you up, the less opportunity you have to try to scam someone else.  
Joseph:  Sorry to hear that
ME  I'm gonna place the phone's receiver next to the TV, to keep your speech-recognition device to remain on.

(this is where I walk away and do something else)

One of these days, a company like this will reach the wrong person... a guy who has nothing to lose and will go "postal" on these a*** holes.   track them down where they're located and wreak their violent punishment on them.  

This would be a tragedy as well as a movie on Lifetime or Hallmark Movie Channel.

called and identified himself as Joseph calling on behalf of the Walmart online survey that I recently completed stating that I was in search of a job. don't do surveys and not seeking employ.
