Missed call, I called it back, some guy I could barely understand told me I won a $100 gift card and I had to pay a 4.95 activation fee to claim it. I asked why I won this and he said it's from a survey I had completed.  I declined the offer.  I had filled out a survey/entered a kroger sweepstakes and I thought that I had possibly won. Today I called Kroger, they notify by mail.  I am so glad I declined.  It's a scam.

This is Asset Acceptance  which is a collection agency.  they wanted me to give them the info on a friend of mine.  I told them there was nobody by that name at this number and to stop calling.   she said she would remove the number.  we will see

This irresponsible call must stop.

They call me about once a week, various times. Don't leave a message. I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number. It just seems to me that if they are legitimate, they'd leave a message and identify themselves and why they are calling. Any debts I may have will NOT, will NEVER be handled with or through one of these scammers.

This is a scam company Asset Collections! They claim you owe money but most people don't they buy old uncollected bill info from either creditors or the credit bureaus. File a complaint at the following link. The feds have a bureau now to begin auditing the credit bureaus and they can and will go after these guys if people complain about this and if you find that they have reported something on your credit report and you know it is a lie tell the bureau! If you want to check your credit report the feds have a free site you can go to and get your report for free each year, I will post that link below as well

Called them back..a bill collector. hung up when I told the person I was also recording the conversation as they were...hung up the second time ..must have known it was me recalling. Finally, the third person did not hang up and said he would remove number from list. 24 to 48 hours to remove ...we will see.

I just received a call from this number as well I had a voice mail message but no one was there. I am getting tired of these calls from unknown numbers that call several times a day and don't leave any messages. I have started labeling on my contacts as don't answer. Haven't figured out how to make the calls go directly to voice mail yet.

Just got a call from this number, left no message and I don't intend to call back no#'s I don't recognize.  Thanks everyone for the heads up!

Want to find out who they are

Got a call from this number. Guy with heavy accent asked if this was some guy by first, ,id initial, and last names. I asked who this was and he mumbled something. Then he tried to confirm the last four of a SSN. I asked him what company this was. He said Sean Barrett. I tried to ask him if that was his name of the company name. He asked if the last four was mine. I said no and then he hung up.

I have gotten calls from this number and they have left voicemails but they were very hard to understand.

The guy says he is deaf. what would he do with a old school nokia, samsung or whatever non higher end 3g or 4g phone???? There are apps for text communication for the deaf........ Older phones do not do speech processing well or at all.

They keep calling me too. Debt collector - I think the call originates from India to bypass some of the FCC, FTC, Fair Credit Reporting etc.rules on cell phone calls etc.. I owe them $0.00. ZERO! They could care less. But they can put crap on your credit report. Hate those guys.

I have received a call from this number for the past few weeks.  When I call back I get "please hold for the next available agent, all agents are assisting customers."  I will not waste minutes on this kind of unprofessional behavior.  No name of the company is given, so they are now on my call reject list!!!
