They just called me and they started asking questions , I asked them to intrduce themselvesf first and the answer was do u have some one who speaks better english, I had to swear left and right on her she hanged up , i called them back and asked them to remove my number from there list or I will have to report them to the police. they said the already did , so I am not sure what will happen

These guys are a piece of work. They called my wife and informed her that she owed 2000 dollars for a medical bill. We thought this was included in a bankruptcy several years back. When she argued this, the guy on the phone called her a bi*** and an a***ole. What dude calls a woman an a***ole? Ended up getting sued by these people and worked out a payment plan of 50 per month. 5 months later they garnished by bank account bring balance to 0, even though we were making our regular agreed upon pymnts. Watch out for these guys, they will screw u in any way possible. And btw, I had the pleasure of speaking to a gentleman by the name of Larry fine. This guy is so full of b.s., its coming out of his mouth. These people take pride in screwing up peoples lives, and berating woman. Some real tough guys behind a phone. What a bunch of LOSERS. If I ever run into one of these guys, I'm going to have to break their noses for them

If you have a android phone download call blocker. It works great! They call, your phone never rings but lets you know that is has blocked the call. They cannot leave a message either, even though this number never does. So, since they are rude and will not tell ppl they are calling who and what company they are from, I intend to block the call.

PS--It isn't against the law for them to call at 8AM on a Saturday unless you write and tell them to stop calling. Otherwise, they are legally allowed to call you from 8AM-9PM (local time), seven days a week.

No, it is none of their business. Just stop talking to them and send them a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested instructing them to stop calling and communicate with you VIA USPS only. If they don't like it, tell them to do what they have to do and you will do the same.

These people are rude. They kept questioning me why I was fired from my job and why I was turned down for unemployment. I told him these questions were none of his business and he told me they were his business. Then he said he never questioned me about any of it. To top it off they called me at 8am on a saturday morning. I know that money is owed but if I dont have it what can I do? This company needs to hire nicer people.

These people are JJ Marshall and Associates and they are a Collection Agency.  They will garnish your wages illegally so watch out.  I have filed a complaint with the State Attorney General of Michigan.  They do employ unfair business practices so don't hesitate to also file with the Attorney General.  If enough people complain then they will have to stop.

Recieved a call from them as well. Called back and he said "Ya Ya now i've got your number" and hung up?

Pamela - Please tell them next time they call and THREATEN to call the police if you do not pay that they are breaking the law, since that would be EXTORTION!  It is illegal to threaten someone.   It is also illegal to try or succeed at extortion.  Ask to speak with a manager at the company and explain to them they have an employee verbally threatening extortion and you will be happy to record the threat next time they call and play it back to any judge.  Then follow up with telling them it would be in both the manger's and company's best interest to speak with their employees about the definition of extortion and how NOT to commit a felony by threatening a debtor with bodily harm.

You also have the legal right to request that they send you an itemized statement of what is being collected and for what company they attempting to collect money for from you. IF THEY ASK FOR YOUR ADDRESS - DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!!!  IF THEY ARE A LEGITIMATE COLLECTION AGENCY THEY SHOULD ALREADY HAVE THAT INFORMATION IN THEIR COMPUTER OR FILES FROM THE COMPANY THAT YOU SUPPOSEDLY OWE MONEY FROM.

YOU ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT TO CALL THE COMPANY THAT YOU SUPPOSEDLY OWE MONEY FROM AND SPEAK WITH THEM ABOUT PAYING THEM DIRECTLY & NOT THE COLLECTION AGENCY.    If the collection agency is not willing to give you the name of the company that they are collecting for, then chances are the collection agency is a fraud or the operator is not properly trained...Either way that is in your favor.

I use to work as a paralegal for a collection agency and know that this company is operating illegally when they verbally threatened extortion against you!

Called me to, I said "Hello?" no answer... then I hear the dial-tone!!! UGH!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!

The man said his name was Jim from Jp Marshall and would not give any further info.. He kept saying this a "personal matter" . When I asked if this was a telemarketing call...he hung up. Don't let anyone try to scam you! I am unclear what this was even about. There should be laws against those who try to steal your identity.

They just called my place of business to verify employment for a person who has never been employed with this company.I told the guy on the other end that i have never heard of this person and if he worked here in the last 5 years i would have been the one to hire him.He in returns asks me if there is anyone available with less of an attitude ie: a supervisor or company owner I said sure..laid the phone down and picked it back up. I then stated hello sir how may I help you..he says you can help me by putting your supervisor on the phone. so I said hey i will do you one better CLICK!!

They call me everyday an threating to have the police arrest me if I don't make a payment to them,so now I have blocked their call from my phone unless they use a different number to call me with.

A Lady called me from this number, said her name was Maggie. When I refused to give her all my personal information she got nasty. I don't know why she was calling. Why should I tell her anything? I hung up.

I got a call from them. I asked "Who is this?" and he said "Larry Fine." and I said "Ok, but who are you with?" and he said "Well, who am I speaking with?" so I just hung up. Because I figured it was something not "normal" when someone won't tell you what company they're from. And now I know from here they're a collection agency, I guess. Not sure what they'd have to collect though. Oh well.

Got a call from them and they wouldn't tell me what their bussiness was about. so i looked them up and they are a collection agency out of sterling hieghts and warren
