So let's see. . . A stranger phones you, & wants you to let them take control of your computer. Do you see the problem here? Caller ID can be faked, & if you didn't make the call (from a number you verified) you don't know who you're talking to. NEVER give out personal information, or do anything on the computer, from a phone call received.

I got a call from this no. When trying to reach Turbo tax help desk. She (with Indian accent) claims to have called back from there. She got me to log onto my turbo site but said there's no virus protection and I got hackers to my system. She wanted me to buy virus protection plan ... I am not sure if she got onto my system that way when she was showing me who was using my IP address.

Got a phone call saying that they noticed suspicious activity on my computer and someone is using my info. I have no idea who these ppl are, or how they got my cell phone #
