they called - said hello and hung up. there was a + in front of the number on my cell phone caller ID.

We are also on VRBO. Getting far to many calls from this phone #.
Have yet to have somebody answer when I pick up. Getting to be
a real pain.

Yep. Also a VRBO lister. Just started getting these calls, two so far.  I've just not answered as well.  Nice to have a site like this to get an idea of whats going on.  Too bad it makes me not want to answer unrecognized numbers.

ditto, vrbo listing here also, when I returned it, it was a bad number?  Then I found this blog by entering the number in google!

I have been receiving calls from this number claiming that they are calling from Google and offering me to advertise.  The connection is very bad and I can barely understand their English....Sounds like some type of scam to me....

got a call from this number and it shows as coming from St. Bartholomew (or something close to that).  There is no one on the other end when you answer.

I just got a call from this same number, 1/8/08, just after 3:30pm Pacific Standard time. They left no message.  I had a Vacation Rental By Owner advertisement also. I am reporting this. Please do the same.

Interesting....I am also on VRBO and missed a call on my cell from this number at lunch today.  When I sent to recall the number it was not in service.  Googled the number and found this site.

I am getting 2 and 3 calls a day - my # is listed with vacation properties.
Ridiculous.
I get "call can not be completed" when I try to call back.

I have several rental listings including VRBO.  Received hang up call on 01-11-2008.

I have asked 590-783-7178 to stop calling me numerous times.  They call me several times a week.   It's sounds like they are saying Homespun Network" but I don't think that's correct.   I have listings on VRBO and other sites. Does anyone know the name of the company doing this?

I checked and the 590 area code is from the carribean.  Unfortunately they aren't in the US so there is not much to do about it other than don't answer and put call blocks on your phone.  I have told them several times to stop calling, I even went so far as to blow a whistle in the phone yet they keep calling.  Ugh!  I also have a VRBO listing. Not sure about the connection
