Left message that I have been selected to win a free medical alert.  Wow, didn't know I needed one.  I remain very active and do not need a medical alert.  The government needs to stop these scam calls.  

593 is NOT a U.S. area code. It's Ecuador! Why is ecuador calling Philadelphia??? I answered this call and got a recorded message about a Medical alert system. WHY??? I too am on the National Do Not Call Registry, but that system doesN'T work like it did 5 years ago!

Called 2 times in the last week. No message left and what I have seen on here, I WON'T answer.

There are some crazy people calling for no reason, they have a lot of time on their hands :-(

Robo dialer ... they call multiple numbers at once and the first live one they get, other lines go dead. Increases the boiler room productivity and everyone else's frustration.

Don't answer.  It's a scam.  Whatever it is.

Getting calls from this number....no message just silence

Stupid hangup call

They said my doctor had referred them to me.  I asked which doctor provided the referral.  They hung up.

Held through Recording info, Muzak in background says Orlando Florda  3 times.  Then  person came on said she was from 911 medical alerts dot bomb.  I told her I was retired LAW enforcement and my phone is RECORDED with my permission by the NSA and the Federal Government. PLuas I told her I don't want her company calling me anymore with any medical devices, I have one by Smith and Wesson, FNC and Ruger that is faster at dispatch then any of hers.  Then I invited her that my company of recorders would be calling hers back soon with a 10,000 per call per day FINE.  She promptly hung up

Just received a call from this number - again - I picked up a few months ago and was transferred to live person whom I asked to remove me from the list.

Selling medical alert system.  I am about 40 years away from needing that.

Obviously that did not work so i'll just be ignoring them.

Name not found was on my caller ID, no message was left, and I could not find this prefix 3 number in the telephone book-- SCAM all the way, these low life morons just don't get it.

Unknown caller.  Irritating.  Ceases after a couple of rings. If I'm at a phone with Caller ID Display, I ignore it.  Similar calls just leave silence or dial tone, if I answer.

The "Do not Call lists" are as big a scam as the scammers themselves!!
They are not worth the time you spent registering for them.

Has called my home several times - I do not answer unknown calls - can't someone stop them - from the looks of it, he/she is clearly up to no good.  Sure hope they don't scam some poor unsuspecting senior person.

Just received call today from this number answering machine picked it up dead silence.

This number is CURRENTLY being used by the medic alert for seniors scammers, whose ONLY purpose in calling us, is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!

Spoofed number with "Unknown Name."   Medical alert robo-call scam.  Said I had been selected to receive free install of a medical alert alarm system.  They are trying to get you you to think they are Medic Alert which is a legitimate non-profit company that makes bracelets for people with medical conditions.   Personally, I am in favor the C4 option mentioned earlier.  The only way to stop these crooks is to hang a few dozen of them.

Call was received at 8:10 PM. Did not answer because caller id showed V followed by long number. Automated message began before voicemail recording started. Partial message left offered a medical device valued at $250 -- press one to receive this device for free and speak to an enrollment representative -- then silence.

Recv. a call tonite. Caller hung up when my machine kicked in. Looked up the number and found out it is in Ecuador, LOL.I'm  on the DNC list but since this was from outside the US, they may not use it.

They're basically phone criminals.  Scammers.  They ignore all US laws.  Call blocker is your best bet.

We got a call from this number today at 2:12 pm. Since 593 is not a valid US area code, it is blocked by our call blocker.

Does no good to report them here, it's like there are ghosts out there. They can't block what they can't see and those toads just keep getting another number to call from. The best thing people can do is just not answer when it tells UNKNOWN NUMBER, but some people are gullible and pick up just to see...
