saying I need to turn computer on and let them service it due to a Trojan virius.

the guy with a Pakistanee accent told me he was calling from Mississauga Ontario,  It is false.  The call came from either India or Pakistan, linket to this phone number.  They phone each second weeks.  This time again, was about "duct cleaning" .  Each time I ask them to stop phoning but they still harrissing regurlarly.
The same Pakistanee Crooks are phoning also about a virus on my computer every second week.

This has been going on for at least 4-5 years now.  They are worse than "s*** flies".  They don't give up, and come back more aggressively each time.

Why would a debt collector from Buffalo be calling me, when I live in Canada????  I am thinking, there is a scam in there somewhere!!!

I got this call twice yesterday. No message. I also got a very strange email from Bank of America yesterday. I am wondering if these are related. I always pay my bank card off in full each month. What could possibly be the problem. Be careful.

I get a phone call on my cell phone every day from this number they never leave a message and i never answer this has been going on for months

got a call from 600-000-000 twice today.  I missed the first one, but answered the first one thinking that it may be important.
A woman told me that she's with bank of america, but didn't tell me her name.
When I told her that I was who she was looking for, she asked me to verify my property address.  She already knew my street address, so I told her the rest.
I asked her what this was about and she said she has to verify all the information before she can tell me.

Then she asked me what my monthly mortgage payment was.  I asked her again why she needed to know that information and she said she can't discuss it until all the information has been verified.

I told her I don't want to provide any more information until I know what this is about, then she said she understand and gave me a phone number to call back.  Why would I call back if they are going to ask me same information without telling me the nature of the call?

not going to call back, but rather call my bank of america mortgage division and asked why someone would call me about my property.

I think it's a scam.

I got a call from 600-000-0000 this morning.  The man on the line said he was Bank of America and started to ask me for confidential information.  I would not give him the information that he wanted because I asked him from what department of Bank of America he was from and he would not tell me.  VERY unusual for a representative of the Bank of America.  I promptly hun up.  VERY SCARY.

How do I stop these calls. It use to be once in awhile,now I've gotten 4 in one day,just a few hours apart.
I dont know the company,I dont answer them.

Caller ID shows it only as 1-600-0, so let it go to voicemail.  Reviewed message which said  "... informing you that your Mastercard has been locked for security reasons.   To unlock it, please press 1 now."

Hi! I got he exact same message and I accidentally pressed 1 :( I want to know what's going to happen if I pressed it..

Received a call from number 1-600-0 on my cell phone just now. They said my Master Card has been locked for security issues and asked to press "1" to talk about the issue. Scam! None of my banks know that number!

Got the same message 5 minutes ago, except it was from Suntrust Bank!  Relieved to know that it's a lying sack of s***

My call was at 7:40 am on Easter Sunday.  It was from Bank of America concerning my Visa Gold Card.  Message said there was a security issue and I need ot call immediately.

I have no account at BOA and no Gold Visa card.

They are a scam

Received call from number 1-600-0 on my cell phone.  It did leave a message but only the last bit was recorded, so no idea what scam this was.

This number has called my cell twice...have had MANY so called attorneys and debt collectors attempting to make us pay a service fee for a payday loan we didn't even sign for. Turned them over to FBI, police, bank fraud dept...explained many times we had the formal paperwork if they wanted to see it. Keep changing # they call from...most turn out to be foreign; company was. Was told to block each #!!

I also recieved a call I keep getting phone calls from creditors, parole boards, prisions asking for a PATRICIA ROCCO I think she gave the wrong number (MINE) to these people I called the phone company..they are no help at all.

These people have been calling me for months, even at my place of work.  My boss told them to get lost and stop calling this number.  They used to call under 1-500-000-0000 and now they use 1-600-000-0000.  They even said they were going to report my boss to the HR department.  They are relentless.

It seems that this company is using the same scare tactic with everyone they call.  "Call us back by such and such time or we will file with the county clerk's office".  I get these calls too and have for the past couple of weeks. First off, who do they think they are DEMANDING I do anything?  I will call them back when I damned well feel like it and they will get my money when they send me something in writing agreeing to MY terms.  It is actually a debt collection agency out of Buffalo, NY called Creditors Interchange.  They are NOT attorneys, they are debt collectors.  They are chumps that lie.  Do they not think that if it was a real law office that it would show an actual name and number on the caller ID?

WTF is calling ME asking for my GROWN, MARRIED, Out Of State, daughter???  LOL, they told me they were with some bank and it was a legal matter (they called me on my business line and my daughter would NEVER give that number!!)...I told them if it was a 'legal'' matter, they needed to contact an attorney! L;O L

I received a call today from someone at 1-600-000-0000, looking for someone who doesn't live here. Of course I don't talk with anyone who's number I don't recognise.

got a call this morning from them showing only 1-600-0 on my cell phones caller id... I don't know where in hell that was coming from so I didn't answer.  They left no message and I'm not looking to calling them back either. How the hell do these people get my cell??????  I'm very careful in not giving it out.

Recived call today telling me he received a complaint in his office. Then said needs to talk to me. He said to refrance my sn number and if he dosn't hear from me then goodluck to you. They also claim to be a Law office. Never said who he is representing by law they have to......

Fight back!! if they call you again tell them that you are about to kill yourself, and after a minute stop talking and have fun with their reaction, I will assure you they wont call back.

said it was the attorney general's office and we owed taxes from 1974 that needed to be paid. Would settle a 17,000 debt if we agreed to pay 850, 250 right away. I asked for something in writing and they said they would send it. That was last month. Haven't heard anything since then

Call is from Creditors Interchange. He explained that the number is routed through Canada and that is why the strange number comes up. Will not have done research and found that these people commonly don not report payments made to original debtor. Unwilling to work with customers and generally very rude.

Keep getting calls that don't leave a message and all I have on  my caller I.D. is 1 (600). Nothing else. Anyone else get this ever?
