Sooo omg! I totally just cried and cried and cried because I thought I was going to go to jail. This number 601-962-4554 left me a voicemail saying me or my lawyer needs to call today about an important matter and that if I didn't then he just wishes me luck. I called them back and they gave me little information on what this was about just saying that I owed a loan company $1,000 and if I didn't pay by the end of the day I would sit in jail for 30 days and can even go to jail for up to 3 years. I found out it was SCAM! you cannot go to jail for not paying back loans. They are just trying to scare you so they can get your money!! DO NOT listen to them. They call themselves "Fraser Law Firm." They all have heavy accents!! When I called back to get more info on who was pressing charges on me he got all mad at me saying I was not taking it seriously and that he is going to go ahead and proceed with further action and that I will be arrested! So I found out that in MI there is a law firm called fraser, and it was a totally different number. Seems fishy, right? I called them and they all sounded like normal people. She said there is no way anyone would be arrested for that and she asked for the phone number and everything! I hope these horrible people get caught!!!!

This guy calls me at my house and cellphone saying that i owe money and that tomorrow the police would come to my house to arrest me, he said that i owed money and that i had to pay, i asked ok so which company is it he sais cash america , i said i did not take anything from them, he said that they were like the main comany that manages other company, scared the crap out of me, call my loan office said it was a lie

This number called me 601-962-4554 a man with a indian accent but with a american name Kevin Cooper! Threaten me that i did not pay a loan, ( that i never received by this company) He told me if i did not give him any information or money that the police will be to my house tomorrow, etc. I was frantic, scared! So i called a debt consolidation company that i am working with. They informed me that they are lying, they are doing that to scare me because they are fraud & dont want people to expose them!

same deal mr.shawn white with foriegn accent and represents law firm in jacksonville ,mi for american cash saying that i had to pay $175.30 for consulting fees for a loan i did not request nor even recived but if not paid by next day the police would come take me to jail after reading everybodys comment its the same procedure treats and making people scared please dont waste time and report it to your local police.

I received a call from a Jack Conoway from Fraser Law Firm, stating that I would be arrested tomorrow and would be brought up on some crazy charges, regarding a payday loan at some place I had never even had any interaction with. The number they told me to call back in an hour with money on a pre paid card was 601-962-4554 ext 115.

They keep calling saying theyre aye law firm threting to get me arrested if ti didnt pay the loans back ther just tryna scam people out money

This company has called me 10 times claiming that fraudulent claims against my social and name. This company is a fraud and they need to be reported! !!!!!!!!

This place is terrible. Calling and saying that I'm a fraud and will be arrested tomorrow morning. They jack all hyour information offline. Talk terrible to you on the phone and they are rude.

these people keep calling me saying i owe them money and all i bills/creditors i know and none of them are with a collection agency because i am not behind.  I know it is a scam, i asked him why he can't tell me what the debt is, but he persist in transferring me, I said later and hung up.

They are calling me and threatening me too.  I told them I will sue them if they continue to call me.  Said I would be going to jail.  I said no I am not.  I have reviewed my credit report and I know that I am not being sued.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

These people called my number alleging I owe them money and they deposited it into my bank account. They identify themselves as an attorney and intimate you with the police. They never identify themselves or give information. These people are fraudulent and are a scam.

This number called me, told me that I would be going to jail tomorrow and that someone would come get me from my place of employment, or my home. They stated that some Loan place was suing me for a loan I never got. They had my SSN and my Banking info. Even transfered me to someone to read me some amendment speach, and got VERY rude and short with me when I told him that I have never received a loan. I am calling the B.B.B tomorrow to report this, I have also contacted a few offices and told them what I has happened. They told me that they cannot say things like that on the phone, nor can they send you to jail on this. I'm DONE! Now they are even calling my work and telling them that I am going to be going to jail.

They called my wifes' work repeatedly today. So she called me, and asked me to call them. He said that she will be arrested at work tomorrow if I didn't make payment. I told his to quit making stupid threats, and that my wife pays all of her bills. He said OK she will be arrested tomorrow, and hung up. I called back asking for a supervisor, and they said they all were in a meeting with the lawyers. Lol. I just spoke to my local sheriffs dept, and they said if they call back I need to come in and file a complaint.

this person had personal information and sad he was from some law firm he spoke with an accent ad said that I would be arrested for a payday loan that I never received. he then hung up on me after he threatened me saying there will b some people coming to my house an I need to show proof of employment then he hung up on me. I called back repeatedly until he finally called me back he must have caller id cause he knew it was me I was asking for him information because  told him I have no idea what he was talking about I asked him when this loan was token out and he just kept talking in circles and not giving me any info so I would be able to find out if there really was a loan token out in my name but he asked for a simone Johnson my name is Simone Gardner if they call my phone again and going to report them to the proper authorities for harassment he hen told me he would call me back.

I got a call from 601-265-3826,she said her name was christina brown from either Fraser or Sraser Law firm,(she spoke with a foreign accent) from Jackson City,Mississippi!!! stating I was being sued!!!! This is such"B.S."!!!! She got REAL RUDE with me,when I did'n give her my banking information & would'nt give any futher in formation other than to call that number back @ 601-265-3826

First, they said they were from a law firm that I confirmed had no relation.
Second, he was a county sherriff that also was unrelated.
Another law firm...  You get the point.
If you do talk to them, they are hoping that their threats will scare you into giving them bank/credit info to pay a debt for fear of collections, bad credit or jail.
After I accused him of fraud, he cursed up a storm to which I replied 'Thank you for confirming  that you are a fraud.  A real company would not be so unprofessional and disrespectful' and hung up.
On the most recent number, they went so far as to demand to talk to my supervisor at work.  When I repeatedly refused, he stated the police will be at my work to arrest me tomorrow and hung up...  I'm still here!
