I received a call and they left a message on my phone, I've turned them in to donotcall.gov and I want them to stop as THEY ARE NOT MY CREDIT CARD calling!!!!!

Same thing happened to me. I got several calls on my cell phone. Ignored the first 2, then waited for a real person to come on who hung up when I began to complain. When I redialed, Verizon said the number was disconnected.

I received two calls from this number yesterday 08.08.11 within an hour of each other.  I tried to call them back and got a message stating the number was disconnected.  I have registered my number two or three times within the last 6 months and I'm starting to think that they are the ones giving my number out to these scammers.  It's rediculous.  I can't even believe that people would consider doing this to people as a employment choice.

I have received many of these calls, first I was polite and now I get real nasty. They don't seem to care. If this were a real busness they would  know your credit card standing before they called. Also they would know who was on the do not call list.

Keep calling my cell at least 3 times a day.

i am receiving calls from this number several times a week. i listened earlier and it is some kind of credit scam. i now hang up instantly when they call.

I received an unsolicited and therefore, unwanted call from 301-300-3033. I want to report this as a possible scam.

I keep getting these calls on my cell phone, always a recording, never says which company it is.  Says important notice from your credit card company, second and final notice to reduce my payments...do I have a big "S" for stupid on my forehead.  I press the number to be taken off the list, but keep getting calls anyway.  Tried talking to a live person, but as soon as you ask what company they are calling from they hang up.  Just makes my blood boil...who in their right mind would take them up on their offer.  I think next time, I will give them bogus info., just to wast their time.

Beware . . . Never press 1 in response to an automated call. This allows charges to be placed on your phone.  It may not happen, but better safe than sorry. If they're legitimate, they don't open the call with a guess about you financial status or an outright lie.

OK, I do have credit problems but they are being handled through the usual legal means. This is clearly a scam. They tell me that they can help me lower the interest on my credit card. When I get them on the phone to ask which account, the claim shifts a little; that they are contacting me after reviewing my credit report, and that they are not a collections agency but they can help improve my credit situation in general. I told them not to call me again, I am on the do not call list, and that I don't need their help.

Then I explained that I'll help them out by reporting their activity to the appropriate authorities.

These scammers are calling from Associated Financial of Florida and their REAL ph# is 877.982.7526. Also they have a website www.associatedfinancialofflorida.com. Please report them to FCC http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and your Attorney General's office. These people must be stopped.

They just called me 5 min ago. I pushed 1 when I was prompted, a guy asked me was I interested in lowering my credit card rate. I told him NO, but I wanted to know how he got my number.....then he Hung up. I called back and got a Verizon message. SMH

I was able to get a ph# to these scammers. They are Associated Financial of Florida with ph# 877.982.7526 and web address of www.associatedfinancialofflorida.com. I am sick and tired of their calls with Caller ID to disconnected ph#. I'm contacting my Attorney General.

I have caller id, it shows their phone number.   I enter the word "SPAM 08082011" for that number: 601-300-3033.  

That way whenever I get a call from them in the future, I know it is spam, and do not answer the phone.   Another way to defeat them, is to answer, and fake a foreign language, and try to keep the caller on line as long as possible.   Guarantee they will not call back.   But if they do, continue to make them use up their time and long distance charges.

I received this call on my cell today at 4:15.  Left no message, and presistence to answer.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  I have files 100s of complaints.  Nothing happens.  The DoNotCall list is as much of a scam as the phone calls.

Received a call from this number on my land-line. Answered the call (because of curiosity) but no one on the other end. Maybe it's the way I say HELLo.

I just got a call from this number, I didn't pick up because I don't answer calls I dont know and they didn't leave a message. I have found it to be a good habit to check numbers that you don't know by googling them so you can find out exactly who/what they are about.

How do you record the failed call tones?

yes they are using texts to try and scam I called my bank a few weeks ago when someone sent me a text and it had like four numbers of a card they said I had. I knew it was a scam but the bank says they use certain numbers because a lot of cards start with those numbers beware. The banks would never text you for your info so be careful

phishing scam. People don't fall for it.
