Got a call at 6:22 am today. Female voice gave name of my bank and said my acc. had been suspended because a third party had accessed it. To press 1 to active my account or 2 to end call. I pressed 2 and reported to the bank as soon as they opened. I'm from Texas.

Received a call from this number twice back-to-back on my work phone this afternoon with it never leaving a voicemail.  I work with different areas of the country so it was sheer luck that I didn't answer the first one and sat here and watched it ring a second time so I wasn't about to pick up then.  I can't believe things like this go on!  Thanks for posting this, I was able to google it and find it right away and knew it was a scam!

601-366-5550 rang my cell at 0815 EST.  It looked odd because the area code was led by a + sign.  I pushed it to voice mail, figuring if it were important, they could leave a message (but didn't.)  Googled the number and found it was part of fraudulent activity.  Called my cell provider to report the call, and called the number from my landline to see what would happen.  I actually got the CPA's office the number really belongs to who said someone has been cloning their number and using it for phishing activity.

603 366 5550 called me at 3 am. automated voice said my credit union account had been compromised and they  need me to varify my account information. I hung up on them right away. The next day I googled 601 366 5550 and found out it was 6013665550 - Local Results
Church, Rob CPA - Church Devoe & Association -. I think if someone were to sue them for this kind of stuff maybe this would stop.

Just curious -- I'm in Colorado.  Where is everyone else from?

I just got a call from that number as well.
Woman automated voice (poor quality) said my account will be closed if I don't give them info right now....no idea what the account was - conveniently I couldn't make it out.
So I plugged in a bogus card number to see how far it would go. Then they asked for my CVV code. Made that up too. Then they asked for the expiration date. And finally, they asked me for my PIN so they could change it for me.
So I made up a pin and then had the opportunity to change it.
then they restored my account!
Nothing worse than rank amateurs....geesh.
Interestingly enough, after my account was "verified" (of course they were only looking for a valid card type based on the first 4 digits) the voice was a man with an "English" type accent.....much like an English accent from say...Nigeria.........
losers. So sad that so many people fall for this stuff... 8-(   These guys would have to get a real job.....

to clarify, I hung up and called the number (601-366-5550) back from a different number (with a diff area code). The second time a (real) woman picked up and told me that their phone system had been hacked and apologized. I said no problem and let her go...

Received an automated call today from 601-366-5550 to my cell phone. Female voice said there has been illegal activity in my bank account and my bank card has been suspended, and to press #1 to respond to this message - which of course I didn?t do.  Just a view days ago my wife received a text message on her cell phone from a 604-area code with a similar scenario. This type of deceiving activity needs to be stopped.  But hopefully, if we spread the word about these low-life scammers, they won?t have a chance of finding a victim.
