This number calls me all the time i don't know anybody in mississippi so i just let it ring hoping they will get tired of calling and just fade away. Don't know what they are trying to sell but whatever it is i don't want it.

Best thing I heard a friend do to one of these people who called was "I am sorry I don't speak English"  they of course would say your english is perfect......"I am sorry I do not understand you....I do not speak ANY English."  this usually goes on for a few minutes before they "get it"   Ha Ha  ha

Left voice mail about medical alert systems for seniors.

I, too, am getting dead air calls from these people.  Do they really expect me to stay on the phone to wait for a call I don't want?

601-398-9292 called my home phone about 10:30 A.M. Saturday morning. Left no message. However, after reading the post above; we have been getting about 2 calls a week starting with a recording... "If you are a senior...blah, blah, live alone and/or need to protect yourself in case of an emergency". Probably, trying to sell a home alert service. We always hang-up.

Told me if i am a senior i need to by their product to save my life.  I am on do not call and a landline... Scamming the elderly- terrible

They called twice now. Once at 8:57 PM. I don't pick up. Phone goes to voice mail. Nothing there. Am on DNC list, uselessly.

Just the one call. The caller hung-up on my answering machine after a time-out of a few seconds.  I put them on call block.  

This should prevent my answering machine from experiencing any hard feelings on being slighted by the telemarketers auto-dialer machine.

The dead air phone calls. enough already.  It happens like twice a day at least.  Same with the "senior service calls.  Time to start blocking if we can.  We're on a really old grandfathered in service plan.  I guess somebody does not respect the do not call list.

Getting 20 phones calls or more from this number weekly.  Dear air sometimes, but also had a recording for me to get something free.  SICK OF IT!

You also must call the unlawful call center after preforming the trace in order for law enforcement to issue you a compliant number.

If you are a Verizon customer, all you have to do is initiate a call-trace using Verizon's feature code (  *57  )...

...After a call is traced 3 times it is automatically logged into a special database for harassing phone-calls and is also forward to a branch of local law enforcement. Simply follow the system prompts after initiating the trace in order to pursue the matter legally.

The key to remember here is that you'll have the evidence you need simply by using this trace method every time they call, should you decide to take it all the way to court.

i've received several calls from 601-398-9292 the latest today 1-30-13.  i'm also on the do not call list
of the national registry.  i've filed several complaints with them.  what a joke to be on this federal
registry  list.   i file complaints over and over.  the calls still keep coming into my home.
does anyone care?   i tried calling this 601 no.  i get a recording message,"your call cannot be completed
as dialed"  i guess there is no help for anyone.  my caller id says caller unknown but shows the number.  
verizon in mass. does not offer the blocking service.  they did away with this service.  no one cares!!

NOT TRUE.   They call my damn cell phone ALL THE TIME simply because my phone number is an old landline number from 10 years ago.   They call my wofes too and her cell # has never been anything but a cell number.

We need to lobby our congress to stop these calls. I've stopped answering my phone.  Only calls are calls I make.  I am about ready to disconnect my house phone and use only a burner phone.  Going off the grid is the only way to get rid of these people.

They are still calling.  9:47am on a Saturday.  I'm on the DNC list.

i have this number on my ID quite often too.

will add to my blocked number list on comcast for a while and then delete that batch and make room for a new slew of bast*rds.

I keep on getting this caller, yet they never respond and when I call their number ... all I get is a busy signal. Is there anything that I can do to make them stop?

I keep getting calls from this phone number. I keep cussing who ever is on the other end but they keep calling me. This s*** really needs to stop. WTF am i paying a phone bill for? NOT for f****d up calls like this all the time.
