Not only are calls coming from 601-398-9560, now they are coming from 622-259-8471,I did ask why they have other #'s but didn't get an answer and asked to be roemoved from their call this.

Got a call from this number.  A recorded message (fake) from a 'shipping department' that my medical equipment was on the dock and ready to be shipped.  Prepaid shipping.  I hit '1' and got 'Ben'.  I asked if he though customers were that stupid to fall for a fake message.  He tried to assure me it was real.  I told right, and I asked if they were even aware of the DNC list.  He got an attitude but told me he'd take care of it.

Only he didn't hang up.  He thought he disconnected and I heard over 5 minutes of his conversation with a coworker.  VERY interesting...  They actually believed they were legit, and that they DIDN'T call anyone on the DNC list.  Heard a few other interesting things as well, but I won't post here...

I got a call from these a***oles before about medical alert I never even ordered, at least they leave a message
better than the other a***oles just just hang up.

Please excuse all those typos... Still shaking mad ;)  I wouldn't wish it on someone but if it were to happen I'd want her loved one to fall victim and her to have to suffer in the hell she is creating for other families. :( sickening!

Just seriously had it out with these people! They call at least once a month... I started off saying "you do realize this scam has been on the news and you're going to whatever hell you believe in, right?"
To that the woman (using the term loosely) replied "ma'am you opted into a program to receive deals and we're jut providing you with te information you requested" ... I never sign up for a single thing so tht set me straight off at her! I told her she was never to call this number again or legal action would be taken... And ended up calling her a ware of life evil yaddayadda... She kept trying to explain her way out of it.. I finally just hung up on her... THE BI**H called me back!!!! I simply said "what part of DO NOT CALL are you not understanding!?" And hung up again.... These people make me sick! I have an ICD and that's the only "medical" thing I have signed up for.. No bracelets or anything.... I'm wondering if try someone hacked a file from my devices company??

I keep getting this same call from 601-398-9560,I let the answering pick up.the next time I'm giving them the police station address,they can send it there.

My scenario is identical to Ragbert's June 21'st entry. I would like to thank Ragbert for the convenient link which I took advantage of to register my complaint regarding the criminal(s) in question.

As for the ineffectiveness of the DNC registry, bear in mind this is similar to a gun registry. Only law abiding marketing firms register their businesses with the DNC to get the list of numbers they're not supposed to call. Criminals are unscrupulous. Logically, if your number is on the DNC list you should be able to assume any unidentified incoming call is not worth picking up. I was expecting another call and picked up without looking. My mistake.

One more suggestion: Your phone account may have anonymous call blocking and/or specific number blocking features. Take advantage of every possible defense.

called today a man's voice.  It is a recording so therefore you can't say anything.  There is no one in this house that needs a medical alert system!  I hate scams! I filed a report on the DNC page!

Same call.--just came in today, July 9, 2013 around 7pm.  Said they were calling about a free medical alert (he actually said, "you know, the I've fallen and I can't get up thing"....).  Told me it was pre-paid and he was calling from the Shipping Dept and he just needed some more info to send me my FREE pre-paid medical alert (the one we never ordered....).  Told him we are on the Do Not Call list and he was a scam.  He was a scam.  Unfortuately, some people will fall for the phishing scam.  Even the smallest piece of information you provide, just confirming your name, or address, can lead to problems for you, as they will piece it with other information they have.  He tried to keep me on the phone for just that reason...he kept talking, trying to get info, babbled on and on.  Just hang up!!!!

This number has called my land line weekly for the past 4 months.

Did you happen to buy a medical ID bracelet/jewelry from an online company recently??? I did, & I"m wondering if that's where they got my number. I think it's a huge coincidence that I recently bought from 2 different companies, & I think one or both may have sold my customer info to someone trying to sell a medical alert system!

Don't know where all of you are from, I am from Mississippi where this number comes from, but where ever you are from, call the Mississippi Public Service Commisioner Brandon Presely and report this. He has been doing a good job on this stuff.
Number I get is 601-398-9560 also, I have never answered it. I do not answer unsolicitated or unknown calls.

They call my home phone and never say anything.  I tried calling the number back and it will say, you have reached a number that is no longer in service.  I is several times a week.

I wish Verizon had Call Blocking in my area. I am beyond fed up with these fools. Now to have to go buy a call blocking machine, to get rid of these people.

We are getting the same obnoxious calls.  We have put a block on them and now want to report them.

This medical alert system looser called at 1:00 p.m. on the 4th of July!! Left the usual answering machine message about a medical alert system, Has called me previously.

Have gotten MANY calls from this number and other numbers with the same info that I paid for a life alert and I need to press a number and it will be sent to me.  Sometimes a male and sometimes a female.  What is the do not call  going to do about this

We received a voice mail message from this number today, July 2, 2013, at 2:53 pm. The caller ID said "unknown name". What sounded like a live call but was obviously a recording started with "This is John from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert." and said that he was calling to schedule delivery of a free system. When I called the number a recorded message said "We're sorry. Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again or call your operator to help you." This seems to indicate a scam.

third time in the past month this scammer has called my home phone number.  WTF!

Medical Alert System or something like that.........telling me that someone recommend that we have one......... It is not a human voice, although it sounds like one.  They keep calling from this number, 601-398-9560.   keep waking  our grandchild from a sound sleep. So, I have taken our phone off the hook.........

These butt-wipes gave me an abandoned call on my DNC listed phone this afternoon.  Of course, scam artists don't care about DNC lists because they spoof their phone number and keep changing them.  I have received the medic-alert type scam call before that others mentioned.  Though it came from 662-304-3858, it was the same bogus claim about someone I know having paid for a medical alerting system, yadda, yadda.  Trying to find elderly to prey upon.  May they burn in the lowest level of hell.

the id on this idiot caller is "V62917335404633" and whoever this is must think that's impressive.  it is not. i wish the feds would look at these pages and see how ineffective the dnc list is. call came in today about 5:15 pm saturday.
