Im getting a text from this number also. They wont pick up the phone and insist on paying via pay pal. Its a scam for sure. Sad thing is these people are most likely getting away with this and robbing people. If you got a call from this number or text its a scam.

Got a reply to a craigslist ad from this number.  They wanted to pay thru pay pal since they had a hectic job at Bank of Southern Utah and could not come get the item.  Wanted my pay pal identification  and wanted me to send them a pay pal invoice.  i told them cash only and never heard back from them again

Also got a text from this number re an iPad I was selling. Text came late at night and seemed pretty weird. I didn't even bother responding.

Im selling a laptop on craigslist and im here in California and this number texted me today and wanted to buy it from me but the weird thing is that the person sounds like a robot really weird I think its a scam artist I called it abd no one answers.
