I received a call from this number at 10:15 this morning, The guy asked for me by name and said he was selling GE security systems.  The call generates from Lena MS. This is not a business or they would have someone to pick up the phone when you call back.

I, too, am getting calls from 601-654-8429.  They never leave a message, they never say anything, and if I call the number back it says it has been disconnected.  These people obviously have malicious intent.  I want it to stop.  What can I do?

keeps calling my house about coming out to check for sercurity systems. He hung up when I told him my dog is part wolf and I am a native american with a loaded gun. I hope he believed me because it is true.

I've been getting calls from this number at least twice a day.  Several days ago, I answered, said hello several times, and a man came on and started talking about the GE Home Security System.  I explained I had a security system that works very well and asked him to take me off their list.  About five minutes later, they called again.  This time, no one was on the line.  Since then, I get the calls at least two times a day.  I consider this harassment.

To understand why a number that just called may be "not in service" when you call back google "Caller ID Spoofing" and "Outbound only telephone lines".  The other possibility is that they recorded a bogus message on their voicemail or answering machine and set it to disconnect after the message played.

These people call my house everyday, so I decided to answer and there was nothing but silence.  They called again and once again I answered and still silence.  I decided to call them back and I heard this number is no longer in use, really?  I am wondering how its no longer in use when they JUST called me.  My question is, who are they, and what do they want?

Got a call from this number at 9:33 am - 10:02 am - and 10:17 am. I answered on the last one and they asked for a Mr. Barnes - I'm not Mr. Barnes. He went into a pitch about GE Security and I hung up. The frequency of the calls and the conversation about home security has me a little worried - what better way to find a nice place to rob when no one is home?

Received a call from this number on Jan. 14, 2013 at 12:28 PM. We don't answer unknown numbers. I searched the internet for information on this number that indicates a debt collector.There is no reason for anyone to call my number to collect a debt.

I know a good scam when I hear one, but this was a very poor one. "GE Homeland Security," really? Who would fall for that?

People, protect your homes the good old fashioned way - put a hole in somebody & ask questions later.

This number calls me everyday. They just hold the line.

I keep receiving calls from this number and when I start to say I'm not interested they hang up in my face. How so very rude. Even if I were interested in getting what they're trying to sell I would not get it from this company.
