Have received calls from this number asking about a medical something they swear I had (I didn't).  Have used other #'s to ask same thing.  Its an Indian/Pakistani-sounding person.  Thank heavens for Apple's call Block feature.  But I know they'll use another number next time.

Got one more call, I have registered a complaint on FTC do not call website.

I got 2 calls from them today.  First time I answered, they said they where from Covered CA.  I said I have Medical Insurance through my company.  Told them not to call me again and hung up.  They called again at 5pm.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Fun trick.. just repeat everything they say/ask you!  :)

I paid for Caller ID on my Home Phone Line after having an Answering Machine on the line, callers were calling and hanging up leaving no messages.

Rather than having to answer the phone, I check the Caller ID. If I know them, I answer. If I don't, my Answering Machine answers after two rings.

Some D. bag calls my old lady every day with an indian accent.  saying BS about some operation she didn't have.  Hangs up but sure as s*** calls again the next day.  

They keep on calling I have a lawyer but they said I can't sue for harassment bc I don't have an address I've been trying to get it I've told them several times I don't need any medical compensation they still call back!

Same thing with me too, call back and it says number is disconnected or changed...what a bunch of crap!

Even though, I added my number on donotcall.gov, still getting calls from these guys. And it seems I have to wait for one month before filing official complaint on gov website.

This is one of the many numbers I get calls from...none of which I recognize.  Never any message.  I don't answer if I don't know the number, and if you don't leave me a message, I won't call ya back.  Seems like adding my number to the Do Not Call list was a joke...

If you call it back, it says its a Verizon number that does not exist.  I hung up on him, he called me right back.  I again hung up.  so I then blocked my caller id and tried to call it back to see what they say when they answer, but I got a recording saying that the number has either been changed, has been disconnected, or something else.  I wish they would stop calling me.  They ask me if I have used a merina IUD or any purchased medical device or something to that effect.  I have answered their questions before so I am unsure why they keep calling.

I cursed the s*** out of him yesterday. Haven't gotten a call back as yet.. He'll get it even worst if he calls again.. such an annoying a***ole.. uurrrggghhh!!!

this is a scam.. they call and say you have had surgery or a baby ; when asked for a manager they hang up... i need these ppl to stop calling ; very annoid...

Called a bunch of times. I now have an air horn next to the phone. Next call gets a blast he won't forget.

This man called me two weeks ago about a bill for surgery that I had,I explain that I havent had surgery in over 14 yrs. Then he said that I had just had a baby, I explain that my baby was 29 yrs old.Then he hung up the telephone.I got another call form this same man from this same number 601-761-2247 I ask him not to call me again and that I was reporting this number.I called this same number back a min after he called me and it stated that the number was a disconnected number.It showed up on my cell as a Mississippi number.

This guy calls daily asking for Sally Thomas...not sure if that is the correct name. His accent is so think I can barely make what he's asking me.

There is really no reason to get repeated calls from obnoxious callers.
Simply get a phone number blocking service, app or device.

Received calls from this number.  Comes up Mississippi on caller id.  Asked to speak with me and then started with a spiel and I told them to stop calling and the man who sounded foreign, said we will call back.  I hung up.  Any more calls, going to file a complaint with the AG's office, FTC, etc.  

Called me just now for about the 100th time.  Different numbers every time.  Filed a complaint with the FCC.

I get calls from this number almost daily. Some whiney a** Indian who can barely communicate is on the line. When I ask what they want or tell them I can't understand them they hang up. No doubt some sort of scam but you would think they could be smart enough to use someone who at least speaks English.

Can someone give more detail about this number? I am getting a lot of calls from it.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

I am right there with you Sherry!  It has been all of a sudden in the last few months that its been bad!  I am gonna keep track and file a UCC complaint!

They call all the time, I have asked them to stop calling me more than once. getting real tired of these people...
