Can someone tell me how these people make any money by calling the same numbers over and over? If I didn't want their "service" after 1,000 calls, why would I want it when they make 1,001? This is sheer insanity. Unfortunately, I'm the one who is being made insane because I have blocked nearly 800 numbers on my cell and land line and they are still calling ... and getting through.

Maybe I'll just ask them to call me back and give them the phone number to the FBI instead. Maybe if the feds start getting the number of phone calls we've all been getting they will do something!

You must have a mix of gullibility and credit potential.   Tell them you just paid off most of your cards, but you want them to lower your rates anyway.

I imitated a bad cajun accent the other day...  I had to be nearly unintelligible...  but i kept they guy asking questions...  and I just acted more and more angry when he couldn't understand my gibberish.  it was all I could do to keep from bursting out laughing.

Credit Card offer to lower interest rates.  Numbers are disconnected. They are a SCAM.  Scam is to get the Zip Code first and then say that they need to verify that one account is in good standing with a balance of $4k or more. The then ask for the card number and / or the expiration date. Finally they ask for the card number. Most of the time they will ask for the last four numbers of your Social Security number. Then they put you on hold and check the card using the phone number on the back of the card. I wasted about 15 minutes of their time giving a card that had been replaced. Gave fake zip code and etc.   Waste their time if you like however don't give them a real working card number. my cell phone got another robocall from 601-907-8542: caller ID said "No Name" on Friday 03-07-14 @ 928 AM.
Last time they tried calling my cell was on Friday 02-21-14 (not counting all the calls in between from their myriad of spoofd numbers).

Totally missed this Credit Card Services SCAMMERS call as I had the number BLOCKED......not even a ding of a  ring .....GREAT.

This number constantly calls me and does not leave a message.  When they have reached me it is in regards to lowering my credit card interest rate.  I informed my credit card company and it is a scam to try to steal your money and or identification.  do NOT give them any information!!!!

If you have a smart phone I hear there are apps that can filter out these calls. I have a dumb phone so I record the number as an IGNORE contact in my phone book. Seems to me this would be a very valuable feature to add to any cell phone because if you answer the call you will be charged for a minute even if you hang up immediately.

Oh yes, and if you believe the do not call registry should protect you from these calls, then I have a nice bridge I can sell you!

It sure can be fun to play around with the "card services" scammers! Have fun with wasting these lowlifes time--but don't let on you're making fools of them, and the calls will slow down, and stop.Take a look at my post of a year and a half ago on 800Notes 813 444- 5700, page 4, to see how I got them off my back, long ago. You need to play the stupid part, but have enough information to keep them tied up for a long duration. You sound like the kind of person with a sense of humor, who can pull it off!

LOVE it - reminds me of the time i got a call telling me i had one a cruise - had that person going in circles because i said i'd be right down to pick up my tickets!  when she said she was in the phillipines and that would be a problem, told her i had many friends there - which island!  kept HER on the line for about 25 minutes - she was still biting until i told her i'd always wanted to own a ship of my own - and that i was thrilled that i'd won one!

i feel sorry for the people who can ONLY find work in these call centers until i realize how many people get cheated.

i had some fun recently - told the person on the phone i had 15 credit cards, owed over 250,000 and would LOVE to have my "rates" reduced - especially since i was unemployed!  the woman on the other end was furious - i kept her on the line five minutes before she realized i was annoying her JUST like she was annoying me.

they have to pay to make these calls - so let's all keep them on the line so they can't call others and just mess around with THEM for a change!  

when i pressed "1" this time, the young male on the other end was giggling then i got the "press 1" or enter your 16 digit card again - so i kept saying "helllOOOO" - til he disconnected.

this is my new form of "entertainment" - tie up their time and phone lines by stringing them along!

then, hopefully, the fcc will finally step in and put these creeps out of business (or in jail) ... some day.

Card Services scam.  I strung the poor chap along for 18 minutes whilst I gave bogus numbers.  Fools.

Get a call everyday with no message left. It is very annoying!!!!!

Card Services robocall  - same scam company who was fined by the FTC - they are still engaged in illegal telemarketing as they are calling my cell phone which is also on the DNC list.  Complaint filed at donotcall.gov.

I play along and give them a credit card number of 5469 8765 4321 2345 and a 800 number that states "you won a cruise" its great when the caller gets back on with me and says is that the right number it is saying something about winning a cruise. I say you won a cruise that's great where are you going to go. they finally get the idea they were had. The last woman felt like such an a** it was great.
