i get at least 15 calls a day from this number 602-221-6028

This number 602-221-1812 called me and when I called back to see who it was they said it was Chase Bank mortgage home loan, I said I do not have a loan with you and the lady said it might have been a wrong number. this was the 1st time calling so let's hope they stop!

I was told by my mother a few minutes ago (I just returned home from the store) that there was a call from an unknown number and the person said his name was Sean Harrington (not sure if that is the correct spelling), then asked if he was speaking with the person who has an SSI ending with (the numbers he said were the last four digits of mine), my mother said no and he said he had the wrong number and hung up. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, what is it and who is it? I am really worried that someone I do not know may have my information and not sure what to do.

You can call them legit all you'd like. I've never had a studen loan with ANY bank and they have been calling me incessantly. When I returned their call they so much as admitted that my number was probably generated by a computer there. They're calling people for no reason at all. Nothing legit about that...

This number is calling my cell phone about 10 times a day, it is getting rediculous! Want to find out about harrassment charges that can possibly be filed!

Call came in at 8:57 a.m. and said it was CHASE.  Automated said please wait, trying to connect.  After three attempts by them, I hung up.

I finally answered a call from this number and a man named jay was on the other line wanting me to give him my full name and social. When i asked why he was calling and for whom he did not want to tell me and after another attempt said he would call back again,  which i have no doubt.

This number has called my home several times.

My son pays his loan faithfully and still they call, you do not have to give your SSN to anyone!

Repeated calls from this number asking for Whitney or Harold.  Despite telling them no-one of that name in known I continue to receive calls.  This is now amounting to harassment on an innocent.

I just got a call from this number.  I do have a child with a Chase student loan. When I refused to give them any of my account information to make a payment, they gave me a hard time.  I told them I would make an on-line payment when I got home but she insisted I give her the information immediately and kept asking why I would not give her the information.  I kept telling her I do not give that information to people who initiate a call to me and that she could be anybody calling me and asking me for my personal financial informaton.  She just did not get it.  When she asked to verify my address I told her to tell me my address.  She asked where I worked and for my work phone number and I refused to give her that information.  I told her it is illegal for her to call me at work.  When she asked to verify my home number I told her she was calling it.  I finally got her to understand that I was not going to give her financial information over the phone and would not do anything until I got home and made the payment to a verifiable source.

They call everyday!!! They never leave a message!!!! I never will give infor when people call me.......

This is Chase Bank's collections department in Phoenix. However, they started calling me 2 weeks before my payment was even due and they called every 45 minutes. Call this number: 1-800-489-5005. It's Chase's Student Loans direct number. I called and told them what was going on and the woman was very nice and put a stop call notice on my account.

The y  called me , leaving a message saying they were from Chase Student Loans and to call them back on 188 640 3806. I did; gave them my SSN like a fool. The person knew all of student loans, along with interest rates, my previous address and phone number. They still continue to call. This was a week ago, and nothing has happend to my accounts, but I am wondering if anyone knows if this is legit? Or am I a fool in trouble....

This number has been calling me at least 5 times a day. They call and then hang up. I dont believe its chase bc chase has been calling w a 1-888 or 800 number.

My husband received a call from this number.  They stated that someone with a name we do not know had a student loan with them.  That my husband co-signed the student loan.  Asked for my husbands social security number, only gave first three numbers.  Asked them how they got our number and address and who this person was.  They would not give us this information.  Found this strange.  Am reporting them to the attorney general of my state.  Makes you nervous.
My husband is 76 years old, has never co-signed a loan for anyone and does not need a student loan.

Can't be certified Chase, because I have autopay for my loans.  Further, they do not leave messages... odd.

I work in student loan collections, and it isn't illegal for them to ask for your SSN.  In fact, they are probably not legally permitted to discuss any details of your loan (or acknowledge that you even have one) until verifying that your SSN, or at least the last 4 digits, are the same as those on the file they have.  Chase is probably collecting on their own loans (first-party) as opposed to what I do (contract work collecting on loans held by the government) so their rules are likely even more lenient.

Also, I'm sure this number in particular is not a fraudster because I actually do hold student loans with Chase and this is the same number that they call from/I call them on.  They are rather annoying, both the frequency of their calls and their practice of constantly calling even when you're making on-time payments, but they are at least legitimate and not breaking any laws.

Got a call from this number today, I have a Chase Student Loan and I've been making regular payments scheduled online since I have all my accounts through them (checking and savings) but I researched this number because its never called me.  They did call a few weeks ago but it was from an 800 number to verify my address for my tax information.  I didn't answer this call and I don't intend to.

They called my office phone 19 times this past weekend!  The calls are from JP Morgan Chase.

Weird. Says it is Chase and I do have a student loan but this isn't the official number.  Plus, I've resolved all student loan related payments with CSL.  I don't know who the people from this number are.

Chase is an 888 or an 800 number so I'd be wary of these people.

This number keeps calling me...I contacted Chase and they searched there database and said that this number IS NOT a legitamate Chase number. Do not give them any information, if you have a student loan hang up and call the approved 800 number for any questions!!! Once again DO NOT give this number ANY information, they are NOT with Chase!

i do not have a car financed at chase or any other place.  i am 65 y o and do not have a student loan.  they need to check the number they are calling i do not give out my cell phone number

at least 8 or 9 times a day these people call me - have never answered phone.  Am reporting them to the atty gen'l office of my state.

These people kept calling and asking for my name and social security number. They said they were Chase Student Loans and Chase had turned their loans over to them. I didn't tell them because a bank should've known what my social security was and companies aren't supposed to ask for social security numbers on the phone. One day when I wasn't home, my mother received the call and gave them my social security number and name. Now when they call, they use the same exact name my mother gave them -- with the middle initial-- and my security number. They keep calling for more information. I'm wondering if this is fraud.
