Meagan said that the company she was with Principal Payment Solutions...gets a report from our bank and it says we are in good standing.  I told her that I know that we are and to remove us from her list and never call us again!

I got a similar call from a Phoenix number 602-224-8847 (unlisted) with the caller ID "ICI".  The man said my business qualified for a wholesale review and that a representative would come over to review my statements.  I asked for him to put me on his no call list and he said he doesn't have one.

Caller ID shows up AIM Hire Staffing.  When I answered there was a lot of background noise.  Caller asked for owner.  Said she was with Icon Processing for credit cards.  Wants to move me from retail to wholesale level.  I checked with my credit card company and they said it was a scam.  Everyone please beware.

I am so fed up with this outfit calling my business everyday interrupting customer relations and costing valuable sales. The tables have turned due to my frustration and I now harrass them. I have 4 lines coming into my business and they call them all persistently everyday. I have begged, threatened and said some things that my mother would slap me for and they will not stop. In my free time I call them and harrass the crap out of them. I find that it relieves stress by letting the teller marketers know what a miserable worthless job they have. Funny thing, they will not ever pass me to a manager. My goal is to make through the VP and get the owner before he goes to jail.

This outfit is a classic fraud.  I received a call today on my cell phone from 602-224-8822.  A fellow said he was a friend of Charlie (not his real name), who happens to be the owner of a business that is my client.  I am an agent for merchant services to businesses.    Apparently this man was planning on opening a sporting supplies business in my city, and had heard from Charlie that I offered "wholesale rates" on credit card service to Charlie.  In fact, according to him, Charlie claimed to be getting credit card service at 1% from me.  When I said there must be a misunderstanding, and that nobody could offer those rates, the man continued.  Still, I gave him the facts.  He persisted in asking me about my "wholesale" rates, and specifically the 1% rate, repeatedly.  And he  even went on to say that another processor had offered him debit at 20¢.  To that, I said, "If anyone tells you he'll give you debit at 20¢, he's lying.  What they often mean is that they price it at 20¢ PLUS the pass-through network fees from the debit network".  No, he insisted, he was promised it at a "flat 20¢".  Shortly thereafter, during my reply, the line went dead.  And guess what?  Five minutes later, my client, Charlie, called me.  Seems he had finally gotten fed up with this guy from Arizona harrassing him about "wholesale" rates at 1%, so gave him my number and told him to call me.  So the mysterious caller was simply posing as a merchant -- even gave me his average ticket and monthly volume (to match what Charlie did) -- for the sake of finding out my rates.  I never gave them.  Instead, he got an earful of fact, and got schooled in how the industry works -- and my opinion of scammers' use of the term "wholesale" (not a Visa/MC term).  Yes, guys like him should be put out of business.  And he's not alone, either.  Not by any means.  I hear FROM these guys and ABOUT them on a regular basis.  If EVERY merchant would place a premium on good SERVICE (and COURTESY) from their credit card agent and not get overly greedy on RATES, some of these guys might go away.  But we'll never fully rid ourselves of the predators.

Got a call today - the caller ID states it is AIM Hire Staffing.

A man ask if he is calling our Company, I state that it is, I started to say that the name of the company has changed, but he hung up.

I called back and spoke to the receptinist. Asked who they were and was told it was Principal Paymnet Solutions. When I asked about the caller-id being a stafifng service,I was told that they had just moved to a new location and for some reason there were two different caller ID numbers coming up on their out going calls.

Can anyone say spoofing? I should contact the real company and let them know they are being used by scammers.

It seems this company has gotten away with fraud for some time, under more than one company name.

A woman called me from this number today, saying she's calling to talk about my Visa Mastercard Merchant account. We don't deal with this company, never have, and never will - but you might be interested in their technique:

I can only hope they go to jail sooner rather than later.

Principal Payment Solutions wants to have someone come into my house and look over my bank statements. (No way would I do anything like that)
Young man said I qualified to move up to wholesale review status for debit/credit cards.  There were some question that I would need to answer and then someone would come out to my house and look over my bank statements and show me how much I could save.  I did not disclose any personal information nor give them permission to come to my home.  Someone should shut them down.
