I am sick and tired of this N Amer Services calling my and hanging up when I answer.  When I called back it just rings and rings, then an automated voice comes on and says to enter my access code???  STOP CALLING MY HOME ASAP OR THE BBB WILL BE NOTIFIED!

I just received a call from some lady who listed a bunch of things I could buy to support the handicapped. When I politely said I was not interested, she continued with how "the Lord blesses people who help people." When I again politely said, "No thank you", she very rudely said, "Oh, you don't help people, only people you know," and hung up on me.

I just rec this call and trying to sell my light bulbs telling me the deal how this and that and I say hey look I cant buy none, and then he said God F' Bless you and hung up and I'm on the Do Not Call list

I just got a call from this number and I am on the *Do not call list but he was trying to sell me light bulbs, saying very rude after I stated the fact I rent I don't have ti buy light bulbs. God F'in bless you and hung up.

called at 1;45 today asked if i would like to donate money for something told her ive already done that this year for other groups, her responce was oh you dont care about nothing but your self, thats when i hung up, thats ok my husband found out where she lives, and his brother lives about ten miles from there. well fix her problem lol. you would think with all of these complaints the BBB WOULD PUT A STOP TO HER.

Caller asked for "Helen".... I told her she had a wrong number. She then told me she was disabled and calling about light bulbs that last 10 yrs. I told her to put me on her Do Not Call List and she asked me why i wasn't interested in light bulbs that last 10 yrs. I asked to speak to Supervisor and she hung up on me.

Many of you complain that they called despite you being on the Do Not Call registry.  Unfortunately, it's pretty much pointless because there's a loophole.  Charities, pollsters and political groups are exempt so they're not affected by the registry.  All these scammers have to do is to pretend to be a charity or pollster.  And from what others say, the callers apparently pretend to be handicapped and selling lightbulbs to support themselves.

Other scammers have pretended to be pollsters, asking how much you're paying for electricity, gas, groceries, etc ... and then in the middle of the "survey," they'd tried to sell you something..  SCAM

Bottomline -- just don't answer if you have an answering machine.  If it's important, they'll leave a message.   And the Do NOt Call Registry is a joke because anyone could pretend to be a charity or pollster.

Since we have caller ID, we never answer these calls, but we get many of them at all hours of the day. Who are they?!

Caller was happy that I answered nasty and hung up when I said I wasn't interested and told him he was calling on a business line.  Said "well I hope you enjoy paying $15 for light bulbs!".

recieved call from this number lady wanted me to make a donation for battered women and children. Told her was not interested  and to take me off the calling list she became rude. Asked to talk to some one in charge  she  kept asking why dont you want to help . Asked again to talk to someone in charge  she then said no was there in charge still being rude at that time i became rude and yelled dont call back

Saturday morning, the one morning I get to sleep in, at about 8:20am I got a call from this number. The person calling said "We are not calling to ask for money, we are not going to ask you for anything and how does that sound?
I said, "okay."
He said We are trying to help out the handicap."
I waited for some explanation.
Silence.
He said again, "We are just trying to help the handicap."
I explained that it was early and wanted to know what he wanted. I was not snarly or demanding but his silence seemed odd and useless.
He said, "We are just trying to help out the handicap." and then he hung up without ever telling me what he wanted other then that they were "just trying to help out the handicap."

602-244-2799 called me at 5:31 PM central time to tell me about old light bulbs being pulled me from the shelves and China making the new bulbs that are very poisonous.  When I asked him to hold on so I could put my wife on the phone, he hung up.  Very annoying.

I listened to the entire obviously scripted blurb. When I said we would not be able help, I have been out of work for over a year,  the "handicapped Tommy" with the disabled type speech pattern to me to "come on" you have not given in 2 years. I said OH MY GOD, so this is your real voice and you are not handicap at all, remove us from you list, do not call this number again. I ended with a God Bless you and hung up. Someone needs to blast this fake company with a law suit!

received call from them, when I told them I was in a 'do not call' list she replied, arrogantly, "Well, obviously not since I am calling." I then told her, "Well, since you are a smart-$#@ you might as well take me of your list!" I then hung up.  At least I got the pleasure of telling them off first. I reported them after.

Received call from this number this morning but no one was on line when I answered.

As soon as I saw who was calling I answered the call but I didn't say anything. I waited for the calling party to say something first, but they didn't, so I just waited to see if I could hear anything, but I didn't. I heard a couple of clicks, that's all. Sometimes by saying hello first, you will activate a computer so it will begin playing a message to you. I am on a do not call list, so now I will report it to the federal trade commission. That's what you are supposed to do. Go to the website for the National Do Not Call list and there will be a link to report annoying calls.

Must be a scam or prank call. They hung up as soon as I said hello. What's the point of them calling just to hang up?
