My CID showed Deerfield Assoc for this #., also for 480-264-6988.  Looks like Rodale has really expanded their area codes and cover names.  Wish there was a way to get rid of them.  I never answer calls from unknown #'s.  Rely on posts for information.  Thanks for posting.

   Rodale Books is one of the companies they represent.     I didn't answer the call.

My caller ID showed Deerfield Associates. Did not answer. So sad you can't answer calls anymore! Could someone tell me where to call to stop these calls?, if possible!!!

What is Rodale's?

I got a call from this # and my caller ID showed Deerfield Asdoc.  I do not answer any calls from a number I do not recognize.  This problem has gotten so out of control and you just can't trust anyone anymore! To many bad things have been happening to people when they answer these calls. SOMETHING HAS TO NE DONE!!!!!

2 calls from this number in the last 3 weeks - 2 others from (480) 264-6988. I submitted a request on Rodale's site to be removed from their list, will see how that works. Have also been receiving calls I believe from Rodale using (610) 967-7990, (610) 967-7991, (610) 967-7994 and (610) 967-7999.

Rodale sells books.

Ever since we registered our land and cell phone numbers with the do not call site, we've been getting even more telemarketing calls than before.

I believe the "no call list" is a list that "someone" sold to the obnoxious people who call all of us. Once you submit your number then they do what they want with that number. And sadly, once your number is sold, it is sold again and again and again, there's no stopping it. I am going to try changing my number and not putting it on the do not call list.

This number showed up on my caller ID (thank god for that) When I picked up after the second ring there was no one on the other end.  I called the number back and "Rodale Books Rodale Inc" I waited on hold for a "customer service rep" and told them to remove my number they said they would submit my request.

When reading your website, I read a comment from a person who had called this number back and was removed from Rodale Books' calling list.  I called, and it was an automated answering machine, but when I keyed in a made up account number, I was connected to customer service.  After a several minute wait, a very polite lady looked up my phone number and promised to take me off their calling list, which, hopefully, she will do.

I have checked phone numbers many times, but this is the first time I have found encouraging information to stop a call from a specific number.  I wish I could remember the name of the person who posted the information, I am so thankful and encourage anyone who is able to stop unwanted calls to post, not only their complaint, but the action that remedied it.

Called the number back. It was Rodale Books. Got a very pleasant  young woman who removed me from both call and mailing list with politeness and courtesy. Wish all companies were like that.

I have received many calls from Rodale on different numbers.  Tonight I received a call on that number (602-246-8398) and the caller ID said "R Life".  So heads up it is the same caller I am sure.

I also purchased a book from Rodale (Prevention Magazine) which I do enjoy very much but I do not want to be on any telemarketing phone list.  Much to my avail, the do not call list does not always work.   Mostly, I just ignore.

It's another one from Rodale Publishing.  They have a bunch of numbers under different titles.  Mine came up R LIFE.  I ordered Prevention Magazine recently from them.  Won't be renewing because of the sneaky tactics.

I subscribed to Prevention magazine.  Rodale Publishing gets your number if you do.  Now I'm getting calls from R. Dale, Thank you, Rodale and probably others I haven't figured out yet.  I will NOT be renewing because of these sneaky tactics.

I got this number calling me as well and I too looked the name Chavez Leslie on-line and got this mug shot
of a guy in AZ.

I didn't answer it and no message was ever left.

Caller ID comes up as "Thank You'.  No message left.  I called the number back, rang a few times then the line was disconnected.  Called back again.  Got through to an automated machine for Rodale Books.  Asked for Customer Service.  Automated told me the conversation would be recorded for quality purposes or something to that effect.  Waited, nothing.  Line was disconnected again after about a minute.  Here is their website and actual customer service contact number:  http://www.rodaleinc.com/customer-service

Called at 11:30am.  Caller ID says Thank you.  No message on answering machine.

Caller ID shows from "THANKYOU"  ... I let it go to answering machine; no message left.

No idea who it was that called said out of area
