they told me that as I requested college info, they need my info to send a package... When I said I didnt requested, they hang up..

They call all hours multiple times a day -- I do not answer calls from unknown parties and this number does not ever leave a message

I have had the same problem.  What the heck is going on.  Something has to be done about this.  Any ideas?

They piss me off. I got a call WAY later than anyone should get a call from a telemarketer i don't know if they have computers return calls or what...it was a 602 number something close to that one. i didn't get a company name.

No message left.

Missed a call this morning around 9:45 am from this number.

The way they get unlisted and cell numbers is because the Phone Companies sell them blocks.  This has been going on for many years, the way I found out aside from working in credit & identity theft for sometime, is my "unlisted phone number" with Pacific Bell in San Diego area was being called by telemarketers, etc. I looked into it, Pac Bell admitted they cell blocks of unlisted phone numbers - that's what I was told and found no reason to  doubt it.  Isn't there a charge for unlisted phone with landline companies? I'm sure there is (could be mistaken) say there is, why would they charge you for a phone number that will not be printed in a directory nor listed in information?  Because... that way they can still make money off of it since they  got in so much trouble for selling blocks of unlisted numbers to anyone that would pay the price ie; telemarketing, etc.

So I pick up the phone, and this woman mumbles into it.  I tell her I can't hear her, so she suddenly sounds clearer, says it's her fault, and tells me that she's from a company called "Choose Your Degree."

Thanks, I already have a PhD. What degree are they offering: Brain surgery?

Anyway, I tell her that this is a business CELL phone. She says snottily "Oh, well then I'll take you off the list that you put yourself on. Next time you might want to be more careful giving your number out. Goodbye!"

Got a call from this number on my cell less than 5 min. ago. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. I have been receiving several bogus phone calls since applying for jobs through some of these websites.

Just called me on my cell. Didn't answer, and they didn't leave a VM.

Just received a call from this number.  The man knew my name, and said that he was from somewhere (he was mumbling) and that is was a college directory.  When I said "Excuse me?" he repeated the company name, again muffled, and then hung up.  

I really hope that they don't keep calling like they did to other people on here!!!

Call from 602-288-8255, very annoying...

I spoke to a girl who told me to call 602-224-1282 (main line I think?) and tell the to remove from their calling list. ugh!

Asked for me by my first name...I told them NO, you cannot speak to me...and no one is here by that name.  And they said thank you and hung up.

how in the hell do these yay hoo's get a persons cell phone number? that is crap. Ugh...

Multiple calls in the last few days.  no message left.  no one answers when I call back.

They called 6 times in a row.Didnt answer phonecall and when I called back they never answered.

Called today. Didn't pick up phone because didn't recognize the number. No message left.

These people will not leave me alone, I got a missed call so i called back and got a "this phone # is no longer in service" (but it didnt sound right) then i get a call right back asking for a Milissa and some thing about a home based bussness. So far they have called me 15 to 20 times in the last week and each time asked them to stop calling. next time i am going to blow a whistle into my phone;.

Got the same call today but missed it.  No message left and returned the call on cell but no answer there.

I know 602 is arizona. I had many friends live there for college. But know no one I know is out there.  Same number called me, I didnt answer, no message.

Called today. No message left. Probably it's a fraud.
