Giving donations/asking for donations does not bother me.  What bothers me is when I get harrassed, called multiple times on multiple numbers, and hung up on when asking for information. This is not a way to do business.  I am sorry you work for them, but it is RUDE

I had a gentleman call me tonight asking for a donation which we have done several times in the past.  I mentioned my wife worked for the state and she has had several forced days without pay and could get laid off at anytime so we just cannot do it this year.  He asked it is ONLY $20 and I am sure you can afford that.  Well, we could but we cannot donate to each charity that calls and I have always thought they were rude as they have hung up on me mid sentence as well.  Tonight's just really got to me as I mentioned I feel bad for the police but if they need more money why not try and lobby for the money through the taxpayer and have everyone pitch in rather than a select few through donations.  He hung up on me mid sentence.  This is at least 2-3 times this has happened to me and I will NOT stand for it any longer.  I will request they do not call my house any longer and will be doing what I can to help others as well.  It seems they REALLY do NOT want people calling them as trying to find a phone number for them is like pulling teeth.  Please report every instance to the proper channels like this one and if I find a phone number to call I will post it here to place for complaints.

I work for the azfop in phoenix and think you guys are too hard on the azfop. I am never rude to anyone one while asking for pledges. I just dont like it when you treat me like a scammer I am proud to collect money for those brave police officers and there families. i mean come on whats ten dollars!!!! really i donate to them every year and i work for them.

Wants to have us donate, when we won't they get insulting and act like we can't afford to do so. Can I get them to stop? I asked them not to call but they still do so.

They call and when told we couldn't donate the hang up on us in mid sentence. I'm gald I found this site.
