Just got a call from this number on my cell phone but didn't pick up.

This number just called my cell phone.  I answered and it was just dead air. I called the number back, and got a recording that says "this number is no longer in service.  Very Bizarre.

I just received a call from this number as well.  When I called it back, it said the number was no longer in service.  Strange!!

I actually pressed one when it asked if you want it to schedule an appointment and they did answer. I asked them to remove our numbers (we are a large business) from their calling list and they just apologized and hung up.

Called my cell today- didn't answer but redialed and it states it is no longer in service, same story as many above.

Omg I got called by the same number today. Didnt answer though. Was wondering who it was so i searched google and found this.

I have gotten this call twice now.  The first number was different, but had the same recording.  I pressed 1 to speak to someone and asked her if she would please remove my cell phone from her call list.  She rudely hung up on me.

This is my second call from 602-325-5329.  It logged in on my cell and went to voicemail.  The second time was this morning and my husband picked it up and hung up because it was a recording for carpet cleaning.  We tried to call back but like everyone else we reached a not-in-service recording.  If I had a way to block these people I would.

Intelius (reverse look-up) says for $4.95 you can buy the owner's name and location.  Someone just needs to do that and maybe you can put this moron out of business.

I say we schedule them for a carpet cleaning at tent city. I bet they don't know the address to tent city lol
Or at least someone can schedule them for a cleaning at their business so everyone can at least get the real name of the company and the plate # of the vehicle and an actual office # and let everyone know NOT to ever use them.

There is something very fishy about these people, they are not a real company, They are using a spoof line,  Next time they call, go through the prompt, and get the real person on the phone, Try and set up an appointment only give them an address for the local Police or Sheriff's Department and see what happens (DO NOT GIVE THEM PERSONAL INFO IE DOB, Credit Card #s SSN #s Etc)

I do not use this cell number very often...and got a call.  What servcie do you all have?  I have Verizon.  maybe they have a list of verizon numbers?

No Idea how they got my number...I use the phone they called on for only one person, only one person I know has this number weird...

The company answers as "Carpet Care". A bunch of these companies are spoofing out-of-service cell phone numbers.

In addition is is illegal to call cell phones unsolicited, for any reason, and finally, it is illegal to obfuscate ( hide, deceive ) what/who U are by putting up a bogus number.  BUT... This MAY NOT be a bogus number, the scammer may be merely PLAYING the announcement to you, AND CONFIRMING YOUR NUMBER AS GOOD, because you called them back without 'blocking' you callerid information.

I am supicious of the 'not in service' announcement, because it does not sound like most of the standard industry pre-recorded 'NIS' ( inside industry lingo for not in service/vacant number )recordings, and for this reason I'm supicious that the caller is 'confirming' good called numbers, from irate callers, trying to tell them to go to hell. Nevertheless, if it is in fact a NIS number the caller is in violation of yet another section of federal title, and possibly State law, as well.

The best way to get this jerk chopped off @ the knees, is to USE *57 if you are called on a land line, immediatetely after the marketing call.  Unfortunately, the cell providers, although they could implement the capability, don't support *57, or do so in a patch work fashion.  Once you trigger the capture of the caller data using *57, immediately open a harassing phone call complaint with your phone company, and consider filing and getting a case number from the FTC.  Let the phone company blather on all they want about 'charging' you for the *57 call.  You can challange that with your complaint, and worse case: This effort results in an arrest/prosecution: Add your name to the claimants for re-embursement for the lousy 1.00 or 1.50 the phone company tries to charge us.

Got a call on my cell phone as well-weird number so I didn't answer. When I called it back I got a message that it was out of service. Who do we report this to???

It is possible they are using a CallerID 'spoofing' machine with that phone number. That means they might have a machine that allows them to put in ANY phone number they want your CallerID to display.

CallerID "spoofing" might be one reason why when you call the number it's listed as disconnected, etc....because it may not be the REAL number they called from.

They probably set their spoof machine to display your AreaCode so you THINK it is a local service or person, and are therefore more likely to trust it.

Similarly global crossing might not be the carrier providing their phone service...so don't prematurely get upset at global crossing.

As mentioned earlier don't call them back, and above all else...do NOT provide DOB, SS#, CreditCard #s, or ANY personal information.
