I noted this number and copy and pasted it in the search box and it came out as scam

yes had the callt his morning. missed it. i suspect the posters who point to amazon as the ultimate source are correct. although i live in sydney i recently set up a USA amazon account to try to get cheaper books.

Appears this number belongs to a John Slenker of 88th ave., Peoria, Az.....
I have no idea who that is.....

listened to his offer he said he could give a contact # and everything went to ask me questions and i asked for his # to call him back because i was in the middle of something and he said thankyou mam goodbye without ever giving me a name and # so i googled the # it comes from a cellphone in arizona usa

Perhaps its Ipsos Say online survey company. I registered with them for fun to occupy my time and it said stuff about would you like to do surveys via text message so I gave my cell number expecting text message responses. The number has called me now two days in a row at the same time.

Been calling me almost daily for two weeks and I asked them to remove me from their list. Jerk today denied anyone from this number had ever called me. My cell records say differently. It is to do with signing up to make money from home doing surveys. Pure SCAM. Use Amazon as a hook

i answered the call, it was a man asking for my 9 year old son.  I asked him who was calling but refused to gave a name and insisted to speak to my son.  By then I was furious and told him it was a minor he was asking for.  He told me my son filled out something on line on how to make money.  Anyway that was the last of him.  He had called a few times before and I didn't answer; i am glad I did this time.  Its funny, I am studying organized crime and this is one of the criminal activity that is very popular among criminal groups in our country.

This number is relentless - dodged so far 17 calls, 1 or 2 per day, and still counting.

we live in melbourne, australia and we recieved a call from this number. rang it back. first asked for my 6 digit number???? then i told them they called me and i have no such passcode. they then told me they are only acting on behalf of an agency and i they could help me out by giving them my phone number. the weird thing is they called my wifes phone and i did apply for amazon home job but never gaave my wifes number and the fact they guessed that is like one in  BILLION. sounds like they know who you are. weird thing is i was searching anti new world order things via the net just before they called. think back about anything you may have stumbled across by purpose or by accident and then think about when they called.....

Tell these guys to get lost.  They are scammers using "Amazon"' as a name to hook you. Whenever anyone asks for money you have to know its a scam!

I started to sign up from an email.  After clicking and reading second page and finding out first page affilitated itself with amazon and on second page denied it, i close page hoping they did not get my info.  i should have basicly shut them down from my info.  they have called 1-2 time everyday for 3 days.  i called and talked to a young guy who wanted to get started right away, wanted 200 first, can i put it on a credit card, i said no, price went down to 90  and i said i would check them out first and call back if legit.  he was saying he was offering to show me everything right now, i kept to my story and he said bye.  doesn't sound good to me.  i am in canada and he said he was in arizona.  i told him i was on a disablitly and did not have the money. anyhoo

This number kept calling me too. At thought at first it had to do with my Magic Jack. But it clearly doesnt after reading these posts.

I left a message saying I worked for the FBI, sounded serious, and needed someone to call me asap before we do a full investigation and trace them etc..
A woman called me back and said that I must have the wrong number. Said she has no idea what im talking about.

I will keep calling them. Because I have a magic jack.. even if I accept something from them, it won't run up my bill... WOOP WOOP. lol

Ok... so, I just called this number back.  It DOES have something to do with this Amazon work from home thing.

I got a guy who informed me that I have no right to get upset with them - even though they phoned me 3 times today and wouldn't talk to me.

I told him to get my number off their lists, I don't want anymore calls from them.  He said 48hrs.  Call was under 5 minutes in length!

This is 2 days this number called about 6 times someone please help.

i registered with them last week, and today this number called me 3 times... well, i guess i asked for it...

Am in New Zealand and have had this number ringing me every day for the last week. Sent a text to say that I was not able to answer and they should text me a message instead, hoping to find out who it was. Needless to say they keep on ringing and I never got that message back from them! I do a few surveys for extra cash and I just signed up with a couple of new sites so I'm guessing its one of them that has given out my number. Bugger, never had that happen before. Now I just have to figure out how to get them to stop ringing!

If you have filled out anything on line about a home based job from the internet they call .Some idiot say that I was suppose to have filled out a form to work with AMAZON ! Internet scam they don't let you talk they just keep on with the sales pitch ! Completely ignorant as to have a coversation ! yelled at him to F@#$ -- 0&%-and hung up !
    I did not sign up for anything for amazon nor have I even read about it . They just get your # from some rotation method from a computer and is called by the computer when you pick up it takes a while for the dummy to come on line with the scam pitch !

They have called at least 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks, no message, no laundry !!!!

I answered the call just to see who it was.  Stayed on for a couple minutes then hung up.  Googled the area code, and realized afterwards it was a call from Arizona, long distance call for me since I'm from Canada.  Its a telemarketer who says they are a company that offers people online services in making money through the Internet.

this number has been calling my cell for the past 2 weeks, at least once per day. Would like to know if my (our) carriers are selling our numbers since I don't give my number out to anything online. Anyways, they never leave a voicemail and NO I will not call them back, would like to avoid long distance calls to the states or anywhere else for that matter.
Actually this is really childish for whoever is doing this. Is it seriously that hard to leave a quick message if no-one answers.

This is not the first time that I have gotten calls of this sort from unknowns from the USA, then again I do recall one week a while back where this number from overseas called me 6 to 10 times a day.

With all the technology in the world today why do these people insist on doing this sort of thing still.

I've been getting the call as well. Sometimes twice a day for the last week. I'm wondering if it's connected with making money online with Amazon.com with Affiliate Marketing.
