who calls me

Caller ID reads Albatross Marketing, a UK company.  We are also on the do not call list and have an unlisted number.

This time they called using a local number from Arizona (602)358-0173 and were selling "debt consolidation" through an automated call. I picked it up and listened because I am getting tired of these calls-Albatross is not the only one calling, and it appears that these companies could care less about the "do not call" regs. Half way through the recorded call it states "If you are debt free and want to be excluded from this offer, press 2."

When you call back to the number listed there is no answer.

This number called me...I didn't answer and it sent me a call back number text message that said 69...weird

Ok. I figured this out. This is a local forwarding number for Skype. Skype is a computer program that you can make calls over the internet. Its called VoIP (Voice over Internet Protical).
My brother called me through his skype and it came through this local forwarding number. This explains why marketing companies can also come through this number.
This number will not just belong to one person. It could be ANYONE who uses Skype.

Beware of Dog!! I guess will be the bes way for me to put it.   this is a caller from the UK. who I found out does scams over the internet and gets you to beleive you have a serious job making money from home or in the electronic curency exchange.  I got the police involve in this and they are investigating this.  Dateline has a few reporst on this type of money scams and they are also investigating this companies that place jobs on the internet.

Did not answer phone, however I did call back on a different secureed lined and the phone just ranged.  No one ever did pick up, (I let it ring for a half hour since the area code was "local" so hopefully some one got mad.

This number calls me all the time as well.. when I call back  no answer??

Caller asks for a legitimate name, and when asked who is calling,w ants to know why I am asking..... then proceeds - after I tell him we are on the Do Not Call list (which means squat) to "suck his dick"
