Just received a call from this number.  The 'gruff' fellow just said 'I'm sorry, I must have the wrong number" and hung up.  Decided to google the number, and from reading previous posts, I wish I never answered!  Who knows who they are going to sell my number to now ><  

They call at least once each day, but don't leave a message.

These people are scammers.  If you ever applied for a pay day loan or someone you know did and used you for a reference they get or buy your information thru  the 3rd party connection to set you up with a lender.  They also set up fake lending sites so that your information comes to them.  I got a call from a Marshall Law Firm supposedly in NY.  Stated I faced charges on a loan I defaulted on (called me at work by the way) Knew it was a scam right off and told the guy so.  He told me that police were coming to arrest me the next day If I didn't "settle this debt" to the tune of  $895.00.  I told him I am the police, and I would be contacting a fellow officer I knew in his area about this call.  Mid-Eastern accent, which is a dead give-away that it's a scam.  Don't answer any #'s you don't recognize and never give them or confirm any of your personal information as this gives them the green light to clean out your bank account.

Definitely spammers! Don't pick up. I called back just to see got a guy called Brian extremely rude when I asked him what he was calling about. Sems like being on the do not call registry means nothing

I just googled my home phone for grins and saw theses posts. I have had this number during the period the remarks were posted. Look like some unscrupulous company is obviously using my number as a phaotom thing or whatever.

Repeated silent phone calls from this company every 1.5 hours. My number is on the DNC list and I have filed a complaint.

Been getting the calls this week. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and they don't leave voice mail. That usually means it's a scam. Reputable companies, people with respectable motives, will leave a message. Came online to check on it, found that it is a scam. Thanks for posting all the info!

I have been getting calls from this number 602-368-7290 since yesterday. 3 calls so far and no voicemail. I get an engaged tone when I call back. This is absolutely ridiculous. Someone should report them to the authorities.

Receive about 2-3 calls from them every other morning at about 5am (HST).

I've been receiving 2-3 calls a day form this number.  I answer and it's dead air.  I don't answer and they hang up on my machine.  I'm losing my mind here.  The caller ID says "Success Lending" and when I google success lending I get a an online marketing group out of AZ.  Does anyone know if this is the same company?

Received at least two calls so far from this number (602-368-7290), both today (02.08.2011), the first at  11:58am, the second at 2:16pm; neither one left a voice mail.

Per the AC + LATA, it would appear to be a landline from Phoenix, AZ, Maricopa County, via Cox Arizona Telcom, Inc.

Of course, considering the ease with which anyone with the desire and knowledge can spoof ANI, that could be totally bogus; either way, that's where it appears to be from.

Yup.  They've been trying me every third day or so for the past week.  Searched on the web and found this page.  Will not pick up.  I believe I'm registered on the no-call lists.  Can't they be penalized for not abiding by that list?

I just started getting calls from this number out of the blue the other day. They call about 3x daily and never leave a VM. Very annoying!

This is someone very rude who today, after calling 2x yesterday leaving no message, told me they wanted to know if i still accepted Visa, MCard, and debit cards. The name came up as Success Lending. I told her i was aware this was a reported scam - and the # has been posted as up to trouble all over the Internet. She interrupted and said i was mistaken - so I said: Too bad for you then as the word on the street is otherwise. If this is legit, send me mail." She said "Well, too bad for you, too." in a snippy, youngish voice, and hung up.

I'm reporting the number to be blocked.

I did also call the # back yesterday to get a very gruff vmail voice that only said: "Jim" - when i tried to leave a message (intending to ask to be removed from call list) the vmail said the system was full from too many previous callers trying to leave messages.

Something's not right here. I recommend we all report these calls.
