These university places are persistent! For two years they have been calling me from various institutions. Each time they call I tell them i am no longer interested and to take me off their list...Months or weeks later I get a call from a different institution for the same thing. I think they just sell our numbers over and over and over and over.

At least when you pick up and quickly say " I am not interested, please take me off yrou list:" You wont be harassed for a few weeks or months.

I actually work here. If you are not happy about the phone calls, there are betters ways to go about getting taken off the list. Hanging up after saying "I'm not interested" will not do it. Give us a reason why you are not interested or ask us nicely to be removed from our list. We don't want to deal with rude people all day, just like you don't want us to call every 2 hours. Just be polite and let us know that you don't want to be called anymore. We will take care of you!

where did they get my number from?

I've gotten seven calls in one day from them, no messages left. Very annoying. I suggest picking up the phone, say hello, let them talk a bit, hang up. It worked for me.

They call me like twice a day its Phoenix University some online school and i do not want them calling me anymore!

I get calls from this number a few times a day and I'm usually at work and can't answer.  It's annoying and they won't leave a message.  I don't really get telemarketer calls on my phone.  Please stop calling me.

I have done a little research on this as well.  It is the University of Phoenix online.  I made a mistake of hitting "submit" on a job site with a pre-filled form with my info on it, instead of the "no thanks" button.  Now they won't stop calling me.  I get literally 10 calls per day.  For some reason, these cowards can't even have enough courtesy to leave a message.  The number that they have is my cell number, and it gets really annoying with the 10 calls per day.  JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!!!!!!

They have called me 7 times this morning and have not left a message. I finally called them back and asked what time i said was best to call. They told me evening...i said then why are u harassing me at 11 am? I told the poor girl off!

I have received 13 calls from this telephone number in the pass two days.  They do not leave a message.  So I assumed it was not an important call but I want them to stop calling.

They call everyday, no message, and disturb me while I'm at work!

It is the University of Phoenix.  I signed up to get some info today and they have called me four times..the last time was at 930pm.

Just a note to all of you, if you really don't want to receive these types of calls, let them ring.  Mot of these companie use computerized lines.  If the phone rings more than 7 or 8 times, it disconnects on its own and mark your number as a dead line.  The problem mot people have is that their voicemail picks up after the 4th or 5th ring so the computer realizes that there is someone attached to the other end.   Hope this helps.

Received new cell phone for Christmas - calls from this number began as soon as service was activated.  How can I stop the annoying calls?

they got your number because some jack*** wanted info on school and put a bogus phone # for their contact.  If you answer and tell them your not interested they will leave you alone.

i just inquired about college info about the U of Pheonix, and within 15 mintues this number called me and rang once, then they hanged up. i don't know. wierd
