This number has been calling my house a few times a day for the past 2 weeks. Caller ID reads Private, but the number is exposed during the past two days. A guy with a thick foreign accent speaks and says he represents AT&T and then pretended like he couldn't hear me over the phone and hung up.

This number calls and don't answer!!stays silent am tired of this s***!!stop f****ng calling my number!

Same as above posts. Stream Global. They're also calling daily from 480-707-5300

The results are in. The general consensus is:
"Don't bother even answering this number".

Many who have called back say they claim to be AT&T soliciting business.
Some say they when they call back they receive a recording claiming to be AT&T
It is repeatedly asserted that asking to be taken off the call list is completely ineffective.

Others add that is STREAM GLOBAL a telemarketing company AT&T uses as a proxy.

Others believe this is simply a cheap scam.

Called, I picked up and no was there. CID Stream Global.

Called me here in CT -- caller ID said 'private caller'.  Obvious scam.  I just did the usual -- picked in up and quickly slammed it back down.

Bogus. 2 minutes later got a call from 651-333-4187 "Your Security"  Idiots, if I didn't answer the first call, I'm sure as heck not going to answer the second one, Duh!

They call around the same time every day 5:20 pm Central.  Caller ID shows "Stream Global".  I never answer.  They never leave a message.  Maybe next time I'll use my referee whistle in their ear.

Got a call from this number today. He said he was from AT&T and asked me what shows I liked to watch. It was odd. He didn't act like a telemarketer. He also asked me how many TVs I had in the house and told me he has 7 at his place. Then he proceeded to try to sell me some AT&T television package. When I told him I get free cable at my apt., he went on about how many more channels I'll get with the AT&T package. I politely said I'm not interested, and he seemed okay. We said good-bye. If this is a new way that AT&T is doing business, then they've lost their minds:-) But in all seriousness, I have a AT&T landline phone service  and UVerse internet connection and cannot escape constant calls wanting me to get their TV services, no matter how many times I tell them I get free cable.

Called several time this week 7/29/13... Never leaves a message, CID shows Private Caller....

Called my home at 2:15 pm, San Francisco.  CID said Private Name.  No message left on voice mail.

I am receiving calls from (602) 393-7422.  No one says anything on the other end.  They don't provide an option to cease.


When I call this number, a recording says AT&T.  I left a voice mail message to STOP calling us!

This number shows up on my caller id @ least two or three times a day. I wont pick up and they never leave a message it's soo annoying!! I'll be blocking this number in just a minute what a jerk!!

Says "Private Name".  Calls every evening around 7:15 p.m.; third day in a row.  Never leaves a message.

Received call tonight, they just stayed silent on the call.  Tried to call it back but it said it was a unused pager.

Called and left no message. I do not answer numbers I don't recognize.  It went to my Spam-a-lot call list which has a silent ringer and does not vibrate when a number on the list calls.  The list is a very long list. :(

called at home at 7:33 p.m. Pretended to be AT&T selling TV package.  He was very obnoxious and pushy.  Wouldn't take no for an answer. Wanted info from me. I wasn't on a phone with caller ID, so I thought it was legit at first. He even quoted prices for TV hookup. Wanted to call back the following morning. Hope he does!!!
