RMS WAS LOOKING FOR ME TO TELL ME I HAD A PENDING PATERNITY SUIT. DIDN'T CALL BACK AT FIRST BUT THEY WERE PERSISTENT. CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE CARD AND THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL. THEY REFEREED A LAWYER TO ME.

I RECEIVED THE SAME CARD. I LOOKED INTO IT AND RMS LIEN ENFORCEMENT IS COMPANY THAT SERVES NOTICE TO PEOPLE THAT ARE BEING INVESTIGATED IN REGARDS TO PATERNITY. ALSO IF YOU ARE BEING TAKEN TO COURT FOR OUTSTANDING DEBTS. THEY ALSO LOOK FOR VEHICLES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR. REPOSSESION INVESTIGATORS AS IT WAS WORDED IN MY RESEARCH. THEY DO NOT REPOSSESS AS THEY JUST REACH OUT TO YOU TO LET YOU KNOW WHATS GOING ON AND VERIFY THE ADDRESS GIVEN. THEY APPEAR TO BE ON THE UP AND UP. I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT A WOMAN  WAS SAYING THAT I FATHERED HER CHILD. TURNED OUT TO BE A GUY WITH THE SAME NAME AS ME. GLAD I CALLED AND GOT TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL.

I was staying at my GFs apartment last night and this morning when she went to work I hopped in the shower and someone came banging on the door very hard. I dried off to see who would be hitting the door so hard, pissed off and ready to attack. When I opened the door the person was gone, but a card fell down from RMS Lien Enforcement Division with Agent "Esquivel" on the card and a phone number of 623-810-8523. And just like all the other posts, the card was printed on stock paper, with half the paper cut off. My GF is very diligent about paying bills, and when I contacted her to explain the story she had no idea who, or what, this could be about. To say the least we are reporting this incident to the apartment complex since they have camera's that record everybody coming in and out, and around the complex. Additionally, we have reported this to Scottsdale PD. All I can say is, I am a bigger guy who doesn't put up with b***s*** like this, and had I been in the living room when this happend you would be reading a much different article on AZ central about how a guy attacked a scammer at the door.

Could someone who received one of these cards please scan it and put it online?  I'd like to see just how sketchy it looks.

I too received  a similar card on my door. This was a bad looking thin card with mis-spellings in the title, e.g., "RMS Lein Enforcment Division" At least they got "Division" right! It had a handwritten case # some 10 digits long (Wow, they must be really busy!)    On the back was a a handwritten note, "Need you to call me today".

I don't owe any money and am lien free, so how can a firm enforce a non existent lien. This has to be a scam, but I won't call as my phone number will be  transmitted. If someone knows what they are up to please post here.
The illiterate ink jet paper card, no business address, and just a cell phone, red flag everything.
I will post back here if I find out what they are up to. In the meantime if you know of their modus operandi, please tell.

Are these people legit?

All they are is a lying piece of crap company that works for GEMB.

Just came home to 3 of these cards on my door red flag #1. Called the 2nd number...1st # was scratched out...red flag #2. Asked who I was speaking to man said agent "Johnson ". Red flag #3...sooo original. Might as well have said Mr. Smith!  Asked who he was looking for...gave some bogus name...Bridget Scott. I told him no one here by that name and if they come by again my husband will be greeting them. Even for my single ladies do this. Do not let them know u live alone if u do!

past few nights a man showed up at my previous address to tell my family that is still living there that my wife owes for a jetta that according to them she purchased. She has never owned a jetta or any other car for that matter and still doesn't. The last name they were looking for wasn't even correct. They keep asking me for my social security number which I refused to give. They also swear since they have what they believe is her name that they can take us to court and get the money. This is the most suspect thing I have ever heard of. The sad part is when I call the local on my side news they tell me it is just what they do and hung up on me.

I recently got his card today but my dad got it. From what he said it was a large white female that gave him the card. from what i read its the same card.. faded, off center and just looks so... haha stupid. well im reporting this to my local newspaper.. figure they might give info on the rest of the residence here.

These people left me a similar card at my door and practically banged our door down while ringing our doorbell at the same time. When peering out the window I noticed a man stooped at our bedroom window looking for human activity inside our home. They then used a flashlight down our alley side of the house, and scoped out our property for a good 20 minutes, continually knocking at our door. If they are debt collectors they clearly have the wrong people, furthermore, this is borderline tresspassing! Next step is calling 911 and reporting them to police authorities.

I just received the same type of card on my door looking for someone that does not live at my place, I have not called the number, but I think I will and give them the wrong name and see what happens. Watch out for these people they claim they are "RMS Lien enforcement division"

Got the same card on my door. Had a case # hand written on it. I figure if I owe anybody anything they are gonna send me something in the mail with my name on it.

I got a card left on my door looking for somebody that doesn't live at my residence. The card is a crapy faded card that is crooked/off center, very unprofessional looking, I called them to tell them they have they wrong residence and the lady that answered tried to get my name. I didn't give her my name just incase this is a scam and they are going to try to say oh no it's you who owes us money... I know I don't owe anybody money except my cell bill due in a few days. But she kept trying to get my name saying that "in all due respect" "people in this day and age are not very honest and I could really be the person that they are looking for" and she still wanted my name to note the account. I should have just given her a fake name to confirm her "in this day and age" theory!!! I feel bad for the person they are looking for but I can't be responsible for his financial problems.
