Got 2 calls from this number today asking for me by name.  I don't use this service, the woman confirmed my name and ph# but wanted DOB and address.  I said I don't use CVS or Caremark.  I asked her where she was calling from she kept saying this was a pharmacy issue and she couldn't tell me anything about the issue.  I said I don't do business with you so im not confirming who I am so you don't process anything.

She kept repeating that she couldn't release any pharmacy information.

I kept repeating that I don't want any more information just don't do anything cause it sounds like someone is using my information.  

she said without the information the cannot process the prescription,
I said good don't fill the prescription I don't use you.
She said it may not be a prescription.
I said good whatever it is you are doing, don't do it, im not confirming anything someone is using my name.

Basically went round and round like this until she said ok and ended the call.

I called the number back.  There is no mention of me in their systems, and the lady said people have called in before with that scenario.   Kind of odd as I know my # is not public in fact its not even in my name.

This was CVS Caremark. I did recently ask my doctor to refill a couple of prescriptions, so I don't believe it is a scam. Got this call and they left a voicemail with a phone number and an obnoxiously long reference number. They did not say why they called though, which is annoying. I'll just wait for them to call back so I hopefully get another operator. The woman who left my voicemail sounded super annoying.

I picked up.
Wanted birthdate for "verification."
I refused--said, "You're a scam..."
He responded, "Ok, then--We won't be able to fill the prescription your doctor called in."
Laughed at him and said "Right" and repeated "You're a scam, and I'm reporting you."
He quickly said "Ok--You want a phone number?"
I said "I HAVE your number--right here on my ID..."
I hung up.

No message left.  I think it was a 'robocall'.

I got a call from this number today and they said that my physician called in an order to CVS Caremark and they needed more information from me.  I don't use them nor do I know about any orders that should have been called in.  When I asked them about it, they wanted my birth date.   When I said I would not give them a birth date, they said they could not tell me anything.  I'll be calling various doctor's offices tomorrow to see if they know anything about it.

At 3:38 PM, June 22,2011, we received a call from 1-602-431-5000, Phoenix, AZ.  Wife & I both out of house, and they didn't leave a message on the answering machine.  Don't know if it was random or not.  My federal health insurance partnered with CVS Caremark to provide the pharmaceutical portion of their plan.  Personally I don't like Caremark, but there's nothing I can do about it.  They force me to order from them on a 90 day mail order service, or they won't pay the co-payment.  It would be easier for me to get all my medications from the local WalMart pharmacy, which is less than 5 miles from me.  Damn Government politics again.  I've talked to CVS Caremark and my health plan on several occasions, but they won't budge on the mail order crap.  So I'm stuck with it.  Just one of my medicines would cost me $727.00 without the co-pay.  Maybe part of this will answer Crownroaster's question.

Got a missed call. The message was regarding a claim I had submitted to BCBS. Was not harassing at all.

I have calls too. Maybe it is the courtesy call to refill a prescription. I don't answer it, but I have in the past, and recently had a new script, and it is approx refill date now... just guessing based on the past.
