Asks for owner then hangs up when he can not reach him

This guy called asked for owner of business.  I asked for what reason, he said "are you stupid, I want to talk about business", and then hung up.

I was doing a Phoenix job search and came across this posting.  It didn't say what company or any details really so I figured I'd reverse search the number to find out more about the company and the job.  Long story short it lead me to this page and the posting is as follows:

Rude.  Hung up.  Was very ugly and did not even explain what the phone call was about.  Tried to call the number back, but of course NO ANSWER.

I also received a call from this company with a hang up.  Incredibly rude.  Asking for the owner.  I am part owner of this company and asked if I cold help him and then came the hang up.  If he would have just waited a minute I would have been able to help him.  Someone as rude as this should not get any business from anyone

guy was perverted. kept asking me for my number and wanted to know how he could see me. told me he wanted to play a game, called take your shirt off. i hung up. he never gave me a name or anything. get a real job...

Caller claimed to be SAM Steel, wanted boss, who was busy.  When I ASK
again who they were before interupting... call me a stupid secretary.

Noisy call center, RUDE jerk.  We are on the DO NOT CALL registery.

These A-holes have been calling me about once a month now for about a year... first time they called they pretended like they knew me... tried selling me tools until I asked for their call back number... they hung up on me right away.

They keep calling... the guy I speak to says his name is "Matthew".  After I ask what he is calling about... he starts asking me about how the weather is & completely wasting my time while I try to work.  What low life losers - don't trust these morons they're just out to get your credit card numbers & info!!!

Cal Pacific is the name I am told also. They call all the time. I am so glad I finally gooled this number and found out so many are having problems too. I have not read all the reports here but I will check them. I am hoping to find a place to send a petition too to make them stop. I will check back sometimes to see if any one else wants to do this.

I just called the Tempe Police Department about this company.  They saidmthey sent an officer out yesterday and would contact me about this shortly.  I suggest everyone who receives a call to call the Tempe Police and complain.  Another website has a lot of info about this company under Cal Pacific and Atlas tools including their address and names of the people Check it out and complain to your attorney general and the police @ 480-350-8306.  If we don't stop them they will never stop.  Coincidentallyor not Arizona has the highest rate of ID theft in the country-Maybe this is what they are really after to steal our ids for illegal purposes.  Check it out!

I too have received rude calls from this company.  This is the first time from this number & co name.  I have rec'd 100's of calls from a similar company also from arizona with a different name & number.  But I know they are the same company.  Same rude tactics, selling crappy over priced tools.  They use many differnet names and phone numbers

This company has been calling me for years and its always the same crap.
Its your old buddy down here in AZ. Wants to sell me sawzall blades.  We have politely asked them not to call us but they still do and now its FU** this and FU** that. The last call was "when did you get back together?" I said what? and his reply was "Your a** cheeks when did they get back together after I FU**** last. Now I am pi**ed. I am going to do whatever necessary to get these jerks.

Yes Kej buys numbers from Dun and Bradstreet and btw the woman is not named Jai and yes this business does call and they do not use fake numbers for the caller id service. It is who it is!!!!  The owner of this company is full of you know what.  Oh yea and that line " Guess who it is so I can send you a gold plated Cadillac for your birthday"  I drove by this place and i wanted to see what the people were about and i noticed them driving BMWs and other expensive vehicles, so one has to stop and think whats really going on??????

The name of the real company is Cal Pacific Products based in Chatsworth California.  The owner is some d****ead named JAy Jay he owns KEJ the real owner is some guy named Lennie and another named Greg.  Yes these guys are very rude and i f you buy something its stuff you can get at harbor freight for a tenth of the price.  They use fake names so dont think they are the same person when they call because its about 30 people who all use the same name.

Recieved a VERY Rude call.  almost always just hung up and start my life again.  however, this B*&(* was so rude i wanted to look up the number.  i am on the do not call list and she is still calling.

Asked for the owner of our company by his first name. I said he is not in the office today, can I help. Caller hung up on me like a jerk.

He just called me on my cell, asking me why i didn't remember who he was??
I like most here am a small business owner but we don't advertise, have a web site or even in the yellow pages.
He tried to be all freindly as if I know who he was and I'd purchased items from him before, I'm sitting here thinking 'who the h#ll is this and how did he get my cell number???'

He tried to get me to buy some sawzall blades (which I don't even own one!) and them got defensive when I started asking him questions.....

Can anyone work out how he gets our cell numbers???

Anyone notice how 99% of these complaints are from women?  Maybe these callers are rude to them, but maybe the trend here has more to do with that, than the callers temselves.  Think about it.

Called after hours and asked to speak to bus owner, when I said speaking, got mad that I was not male and kept asking for owner.

I thought it was a vendor, and tried to re call number next day, no answer at all, so I guess it is not a vendor for masonry saw blades.
I not purchase from this caller-not professional, and would not identify himself, except to say he was Chris.

FYI: I contacted KEJ Supply in Phoenix AZ and spoke with a woman named Jai. She said this number 602-437-5007 was one of KEJ's alternate office numbers.  And she replied to me via e-mail also as follows:

"I just want to notify you that the salesman that called you has been identified and reprimanded. I did not get your phone number to call you back yesterday, but i would like to thank you on behalf of KEJ Supply for helping us find the culprit ..... Any Questions please call

My company name is KEJ Supply.  I warehouse and retail industrial cleaning equipment in Phoenix, Arizona.  About a month ago, I began receiving phone calls from people claiming someone from my company was calling and harrassing people.  This is not coming from my company and that is not my phone number.  We do not call people with our product.  I did some research and found out that these marketing outfits can program any phone number or name to show up on caller id.  Not sure if they opened a phone book, closed their eyes and set their finger down or what.  As I can appreciate this forum for complaints, it's unfortunate that my business name has been dragged into this, having it show up on this page.

i received a phone call today, April 28th, 2008 at 3:26 pm from an unidentified man.  The caller id said 602-437-5007 KEJ supply. The conversaion (if you could call it that) went as follows.

Myself: Thank You for calling Aritex.  How may I help you?

Caller: I'm looking for the guy in charge of buying tools and safety equipment.  Is he around?

Myself:  He's a she.  How can I help ya?

Caller: Hung Up.

I can't believe the audacity of this caller.  This number is a phoenix number and I intend to get to the bottom of this!

called about construction tools and I asked for him to send information and then he said that I was wasting his time and to F***Off Bi*** and then hung up.

I think this is the same guy that has used a number 561-222-2771 from Jupiter, FL. He has called my office using both numbers! Look up the Jupiter, FL  number on this web site.  It will shock you!!  He has also claimed to be from Phoenix......BEWARE!!
