They call 3 or 4 times every day. A few times I picked up the phone and there was an immediate disconnect. I just want to stop this harrassment. Sometimes I am in the middle of something important. I feel sorry for people that are ill and get repeated calls. I am also on the do not call list. Does it help at all?

Nineteen years as a daily subscriber to Az. Republic and we simply put our subscription on hold after throwing out weeks of unread papers due to illness,  you would have thought we committed a crime against the company!  First we were left feeling as though we were causing someone to lose their job,  instead of cancelling our subscription we started receiving  2 identical newspapers every morning!  We have received 2 different names billed  to our home address and they helped themselves to a double dip into our bank account where they had been auto withdrawing for so many years.  HOW SAD THAT WE HAD TO VISIT OUR BANK AND COMPLETELY CLOSE OUR ACCOUNT AFTER FILING A CLAIM AND BEING REIMBURSED FOR THE MONEY THEY HAD NO RIGHT AND NO PERMISSION TO WITHDRAW IN THE FIRST PLACE.
It is almost laughable that we were told that we had a refund coming since they always bill ahead of time.  I'M SURE YOU GUESSED IT...............STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY $ EXCEPT TODAYS UNWELCOME PHONE CALL WITH  NOTHING BUT SILENCE WHEN I ANSWERED.  
The next time either of us desire reading Arizonas largest newspaper,  we will pick it up in the metal newspaper box

I answered my phone and said hello... Then the recording said thank you for saying yes.... I never said yes... This is nothing but a scam from these people

I do not want calls from this number anymore. Buddy check 12 calls every month and if I don't answer they call back. I don't want any more calls from them.

Stop, stop, STOP calling me! I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry with both my home AND cell numbers, yet you continually call both. Stop harassing people. I too, know how to order a damned newspaper if I wanted one and I DON'T! Just STOP.

STOP CALLING ME - if you are the newspaper, I get it, have gotten it for years, and just may quit over these phone calls!!!!

They call relentlessly to harass you if you dropped your subscription to the Arizona Republic... DON'T EVER SUBSCRIBE TO THE ARIZONA REPUBLIC!!!!

This number calls here as many as 6 times a day...it needs to be stopped!

I just got a call from this number...now that I know who it is, I will answer next time and if they offer selling the newspaper to me, I will ask them if this is some kind of joke unless they offer the paper in Braille since I'm blind!!!!!!

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau...lo and behold, the calls stopped, and I also received an email from AZ Republic. I could tell they were not happy that I contacted the BBB, but I did get a (sort of) apology from them.

Please stop calling me at work. I am not allowed nor is it professional to take personal calls during work hours.

sick to death of it.  Called my cell phone.  It is unlisted.  My husband reads the rag but I don't know if he gets these calls.  Never anyone on the end of the line.

Received another call on 8/13/ 2012 @ 8:53 pm. A representative from Az Republic was told, via phone conversation on 8/10/2012, to stop these calls.

I called AZ Republic Newspaper today (8/10/2012@ 4:20 pm) and spoke to IDA. I explained that I am receiving unwanted, automated calls and would appreciate it if the newspaper would stop these calls immediately. Ida informed me that, even though my number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, the newspaper has their own do not call registry. I was hopeful that this polite representative would take care of the problem. Lo and behold, I have received two more of these calls this evening. (7:29 pm and 8:51 pm). If the newspaper does not stop calling me, I will report them to the BBB. Cease and desist AZ Republic!

Cancelled my subscription... now getting late night calls from automated system at AZ Republic Newspaper. How long are we all going to be subjected to unwanted, unsolicited calls before someone with political clout helps by putting a stop to the madness. What good is the DO NOT CALL list?

I receive text messages and recorded messages monthly from this number.  The taped message says it's Lin Sue Cooney from Channel 5 News sending me an important message about breast cancer awareness.  Please stop sending and take my cell phone number off your list.  I thought it was illegal to do that anyway!  Leave me alone!

Just cancelled my subscription yesterday because it was about to expire and I didn't feel like renewing it and now they are calling and bugging me?  good grief.  They called my cell phone number of all things.  Glad I didn't give them my landline number.  My husband uses it for work mostly.  ugh.  Glad that I didn't answer the phone.  Hope they don't call again.

The AZ Republic they tried selling me the paper, I Kindly told them no. The rep called me 3 more times after that on the same day until 9pm. I have now blocked them.

Despite what many folks think, when you get a call from these guys (especially around election time) it's usually to do a voter survey.  AZ Republic is owned by a large news organization (and one of the local TV channels is also a part of this).  Still an annoyance.  They have been blocked for a couple years but they still call my number.  Such a waste.

As of today I have received 4 calls from this number on my cell phone.  I'm not burning any minutes because I never answer but it is annoying.

Not going to buy your paper.  Even if I were to buy it, I would call you.  Please to stop the calls
