602.445.3370 is a third party company that handles the billing for Scottsdale Healthcare.  I just spoke with the administrative department for Scottsdale Healthcare which is 480.882.4000.  They do not tolerate hearing how this third party company handles patients.  A telephone call to the administration for patient financial services will step in and resolve the issue with this third party company.  

The employees of this third party company are extremely rude, disrespectful, threatening, and unprofessional.

I understand the paranoia to an extent, but let's not lose our heads. The number is in fact for Scottsdale Health Care. They called me about a portion of my sons bill that my primary insurer didn't cover. I told them he is on Arizona long term disability and told them how to submit billing. Easy, no more calls. Not everyone is out to get you. Most of the people calling are legit, and just want the money you owe them lol. +1 @RelaxAndUnclench.

Yup, Scottsdale healthcare Financial Services.  It's not a scam, the scam is that even though I have health insurance and paid at the time I was released from the ER they always find a way to come back saying that you need to pay a portion that the insurance company did not cover.  Never fais...

Hahahahahahaha.......Scottsdale Healthcare for an emergency room visit I had a couple months ago.....just collecting the copay.   Simmer down people!!   Plus the fact that it had an automated system should have been a confirmation of it's legitamacy.   PAY YO' BILLS, PEOPLE!!!

LOL people are so paranoid.  The call is from Scottsdale Health Financial Dept; they cover billing for MANY doc's offices in AZ and for Scottsdale Shea and Scottsdale Osborn Hospitals.  The number is located on your bills.  And yes, you have a bill with them if they are calling you.  They will also contact you via postal mail.  Make sure you haven't moved in the last few months or your bills will not be getting to you and you will br turned over to a creditor.
And yes, outbound calls do not ALWAYS match the number on the bill or number you're able to look up.  I work for a health care provider, we dial out on a special line, and when we leave a messgae to call us back it is a different number from the one we are calling from.

it's scottsdale health care's financial dept, which, is not located in scottsdale, but in phoenix, hence the 602 area code.  When ANY financial services outbound call reaches their intended recpient, they are required, by law, to obtain either the last 4 of your ssn or your dob and your address to verify that they do not give out your personal financial info to a stranger, or a relative or anyone else that picks up your phone.

Rude, unhelpful, weird... Automated machine calls me and leaves a message with a "reference number." I call back and they already know my name... very creepy. They ask me to provide personal information, and I tell them NO WAY, not until you tell me what is this all about. Then they rudely tell me they "can't say" and that if I don't tell them "it" will go to a collection agency... But I don't even know what "it" is!?! WHAT will go to a collection agency??? I just recently paid all of my medical bills... This whole thing is very weird and creepy.

its Scottsdale Health Cares patient financial services. I get calls from them or i'll call them to make my payment for my payment plan every month. They only verify the date of birth and address and/or the last 4 of the social or the date of service you were seem. Its because of certain medical laws haha. if you don't want to talk to them at that number you can call the hospital and ask for billing they'll send you the same people.

A man called me asking for my date of birth. I told him I don't give out personal information. I asked him to give me my date of birth and I would confirm. He responded, he could not do that to protect my own privacy. He then asked me to call 1-602-445-3370. How do I know that this is the same number who called me? I don't have caller ID. The other concern is that I searched this number and it is a landline not from the same city of the healthcare facility. How do I know that even if I reach the proper healthcare facility a scammer could be waiting to transfer my call to a thief in another country. That is an improper way to contact a person (or victim). Don't fall for scams.

The number is from the Scottsdale Healthcare accounting department. You do not need the long reference number as they are able to look that up for you when you call.
