Called the # 602-453-8806. Kept hitting "0" until I got an actual person.  female refused to identify herself, was very short & rude. The person they were looking for I've never heard of.  Said they would remove my number from the calling list.  When I asked about what type of business they actually conducted, I was hung up on. Called back  and  got a different person and was hung up on again when I asked what type of business they actually conduct.  ???????

They just called,I  answered it..."Dumb mistake!"  Did not check caller ID 1st!
They are  debt collectors company, several different ones have called and ask for someone by the same last name
as mine. Told them no one here by that name, just because my name is the same they don't live here!
Caller ID said  "Progressive Fin"

Trying to collect on a debt that was discharged in bankruptcy back in 2010. It is an Arizona number and I live here out West. Maybe a quick road trip to find some collections pukes is in order. Cant hide behind a phone number forever you creeps!

These felchers are extremely desperate.  I am in my 40s, married, with four grown children.  They are calling me about a debt that is over 10 years old, so it is no longer a valid debt.  Anyway, they are so desperate, they found my parents and my brother's phone numbers, calling them trying to reach me!  I've never given any information or phone numbers of my family to any of my creditors at any time and it is so foolish of these f*cktards to be calling them.  These b*stards need to be shut down immediately!

They called me today from progressive its a automated machine talking they are getting really annoying someone help stop these people from harassing everyone home number family and my cell phone!!!!!!!!!!!! ASAP

Just got a call and as soon as no one speaks I always hang up. My brother lived with me for a few months and I am sure it is a call for him. He needs to declare bankruptcy and be done with it.

I got a call from the same number (602-453-8806). I did not answer. A message was left by a lady with a heavy accent that kept telling me to hang up in 3 seconds if  I was not "Jennifer Stedler," and she started counting down. I hung up before I could be scammed. I had previously received another call from a different number that I did not answer. This time a message was left by a man without an accent, claiming that he was trying to collect a debt from this Jennifer Stedler person for Something (could not make out the name) Credit Corporation. Who the hell is Jennifer Stedler?

Get calls from this number almost every day for months. How can we stop this - it feels like harassment.

Called my personal/work cell phone.  I answered and received an automated message with an older female british accent voice asking for someone I don't know.  "Press 2 if this is not you and a representative will speak to you."

I did not press anything and just hung up.  Then I promptly added them to my blocked caller list.  I have recently received other calls to my cell phone asking for the same name, but have never done anything but hang up on it.  I don't know if they were the same company or numbers.

I have had this same phone number for at least 5 years if not more.

Recorded message seeking Ashley Fordham. Switched to live person whoafter I said no such person here, said she would remove my number.

Progressive Financial Services - Collections - usually leaves messages a recording - a woman with a British accent sounding oh so serious.

I just got the call but they left a message on my answering machine asking for JESSICA COSTIN BOARDER  asking me if I was that name and to call this number 1-800-761-6097 back if I was not Jessica Costin Boarder but the call ID box indicated
that the call was from PROGRESSIVE FIN. I get about 9 call a month if not more never answer them. Just thought that others should know more about that number.

Called and left message.  Said they are a collection agency. Yippie! ;)

They call me at least twice a month. I have used the app CallFilter and they don't get through any longer. However, before I did that they were very rude and wouldn't give me proof that they were actually debt collectors. Reported several times. On the Do Not Call registry. I have no reason to even be associated with them.

Wow.  I see this message on my cell phone all the time.  Say they are trying to collect a debit but they do not want to talk to ME.  I thought maybe they had a wrong number or someone had switched digits when giving out their own number.  These people do not give up and must be as dumb as the day is long.  Now that I know I am not the only one I feel better - - I think.

Just got a call from this number, they left a message but it was only because someone forgot to hang up. I called back because I own a business and get work calls on my personal cell # sometimes. So I called back. It is a debt phishing company. They were trying to reach my mother and asked if I knew if she had any outstanding debts she wanted help with. My mother passed away 3 years ago and when I said that the woman asked for her SS number so they could verify. I replyed with several four letter words and asked for my number to be removed. She said she would transfer me and hung up.

A guy named Rudy called very verbally abusive wanting my husband on the phone. He would not say "who" he was calling for just his name and I better get my husband on the phone. Of corse I hung up and within a minute he called all 3 children's phones. My teenage daughter said he's called before and scared her. I have had the number blocked. We are on the no call registry also. Scary the way he was talking !!!

You can't. If you are under 18 and they are asking for you specifically, please have your parents check your social security number through Experian,Equifax, and TransUnion.

How can I be in debt as a kid

They are a debt collection company that pulls up debts from like 10+ years ago.  For example, I had a 235 dollar debt with a phone company from 11 years ago.  The debt had been dropped since it was so old and was no longer even on my credit.  This company finds debts like that and buys them (probably for like 50 dollars or less per debt) and tries to get you to pay them.  This is not entirely legal, and as long as you do not agree to paying the debt there is not a thing they can do about it.  DO NOT give them any information or become a victim of their empty threats.  They use crazy and ILLEGAL tactics to get you to pay... like saying you have won something and need to send them a specific amount of money.  Or threatening that if you don't pay, they will come after you.  Ignore them, hang up, file it as a harassment call, etc.  What a sleazy way to make money.

They keep calling every morning,wakes up everyone then they ask for personal information.

I got a call from this number (602-453-8806).  The guy had broken english with a heavy India accent.  Said he was Nathan from The United States Govenment and said that I had been awarded an $8000 settlement in a class action suit.  To claim this I would have to immediately pay $500 for it to be sent to my bank account.  I let him go on and on before I told him off for being a fake an a scammer.

I wish these companies would quit calling people trying to get info or sell something!!!

We get calls almost every day sometimes 3 times a day.  its a recorded message asking if this is Tara A boujsious (boo shwa) if this is not ..Tara a b  then call this number or something IDK  I hang up.  I reported it to on the do not call registry

They just called me. I answer and she asks for me. I said yes...then she said for verification she needs my SS, birthday and addy. Who is this, I ask! She repeats her request without telling me who she is. ARE U OUT OF UR EFFIN MIND?!  *dial tone

If they want money, they not gonna get it this way...
