Thanks, for the info. got called this morning, knew it sounded too good to be true. The fee is now $499 but all the rest of the info above is the same crap they gave me.
They also gave me a fake no. 888-268-9191 - this is for xmas light installations in CA. Then he gave me the 602 number saying it is his personal cell phone.

received a call from such&such MasterCard stating that I had requested information about working from home (I never requested such). This company claims to pay you for sending them business names in a 50 mile range of your home for them to contact and offer lower merchant fees on the 4 big credit cards. If they accept, I get 50% of their fee to the merchant, earning @ $3000/month for doing nothing. All I have to do is give them my credit card info so they can deduct the start-up fee of $295 and I'd start right away. It's a scam, fake business bureau type rating, owned by a guy out of NY who is connected to a number of these types of operation. Don't be fooled by the "online business bureau" rating. It's part of the window dressing.
