Got a call from this phone number.

anyone know who/what this is?

They called me too. No message left so I have no idea!

Their auto caller has a press 1 to speak with a loan modification specialist or 2 to get removed from the list.

If you press 2 you get "option is not valid" and 1 is the only one that is valid. You end up waiting for 10 minutes before you are connected with someone.

I found out it is a mortgage refinance company. I told them I do not have a home and live in an apartment. He said, "Why didn't you just press 2" I informed him about the error and he said "oh" I informed him I do not own a house and he said he would remove me for the list. I said that this is a cell phone and he got snippy and hung up on me.

It is a debt mediation company.  I am currently going through a foreclosure and believe this is what it is related to.
